Fresh off of helping PUMA to debut its new XETIC technology, Porsche has reunited with their fellow German brand for a new collection of 911 Turbo-inspired sneakers. Mimicking classic cars, each pair is extremely limited and launching next week.
PUMA and Porsche have joined forces once again in 2020 for another celebration of iconic cars and sneakers. This time, the two German brands are honoring the history of the 911 Turbo through a series of footwear themed after a total of eight specific Porsche models across the 911 family, divided into air-cooled and water-cooled divisions. The more recent, water-cooled versions are represented by the PUMA Speedcat and come in your choice of bright yellow, light or navy blue, and metallic grey, while the PUMA Future Rider takes on more detailed colorways of the older, beloved 911 models. These pairs come in hunter green, dark red, and more shades of light and dark blue, with each one featuring a more customized color blocking that matches the actual colorways of the Porsche cars they are meant to mimic. In addition to the special color themes, this collection is limited to a total of only 4,000 pairs or only 500 per model & colorway.
PORSCHE X PUMA 911 TURBO “ICONS OF FAST” COLLECTION RELEASE INFORMATION
The latest collection from PUMA and their partners at Porsche, celebrating the history of the 911 Turbo, is scheduled to release next week, on November 17th, 2020. Limited to just 500 pairs per style, the project will be available from both PUMA and Porsche Design’s website, with retail prices listed at $150 across the board.
