Crocs has unveiled their latest entry in a long line of IP-based collaborations, featuring a range of character-themed Clogs. This time, Pokemon is the subject of the release, with four pairs decorated with some iconic pocket monsters landing in stores later this week.
Crocs has gone absolutely buck wild with their collaborations over the last few years. Their ongoing work with Salehe Bembury seemed to open the door for them to invite various brand and designers from around the world to design their own pair or collection, releasing new projects seemingly every other week. From projects with Futura to a recent Transformers inspired series, they are racking up licensing deals, and this week, Pokemon is joining that extensive roster.
The upcoming Pokemon x Crocs collection is perfect for the sneaker head whos gotta catch em all, and be extremely comfortable while doing it. Featuring the Classic Clog as the canvas, four pairs are inspired by four fan-favorite monsters; Charizard, Gengar, Snorlax, and Jigglypuff. Each pair borrows the colors of the ‘mon in question, adding a neutral base tone underneath, white for Snorlax and Jigglypuff, and black for Charizard and Gengar. Each pair also comes with two jibblitz attachments of the Pokemon, and two more representing their type.
POKEMON X CROCS CLASSIC CLOG COLLECTION RELEASE INFORMATION
The latest collaboration from Crocs, featuring an array of iconic Pokemon in the form of four Classic Clog styles, has been scheduled to release next week, on October 17th, 2024. Available in Charizard, Gengar, Snorlax, and Jigglypuff pairs, each will be available from the Crocs website for $70 apiece.
