The king of sneakers on and off the court, PJ Tucker appears to be releasing his very own Nike Kobe 5 Protro the general public sometime in the near future.
Even if you aren’t the biggest NBA fan but you’re into sneakers, there’s a good chance you may know who PJ Tucker is. Appearing over the occasional sneaker blog for wearing coveted grails, spending a lot of cash on OG colorways, and showing off his sneaker collection via the occasional video on youtube, he has made a huge name for himself outside of the basketball world. All the hype and attraction has made him the center of attention for pre-game tunnel fits, as he always dresses to impress.
Now the NBA star is set to pay homage to an idol, Kobe Bryant on his own signature shoe with a special PJ Tucker colorway which you know will already be a hit. The edition appears to take on purple zebra stripes across the white-based upper. Psychedelic checkerboard overlays then accompany the design in baby and dark blue around the toe, lace eyestay, ankles, and heels. A black Nike Swoosh graces the side paneling while a purple midsole and a light pink rubber outsole finish off the sleek new offering.
