Paul Rodriguez has made a living out of skateboarding but if skating didn’t work out for him he is sure he would have pursued boxing. This sneaker is a clear example of what could have been for P-Rod as it arrives in Mexican colors and in primetime Boxing fashion.
The leather upper takes on a crisp white colorway all throughout while red and green accents flood the silhouette outlining overlays and painting the midfoot Nike Swoosh. The tongue tag highlights the shoe in black and gold as it spells out Paul Rodriguez and Nike branding in Main Event font while a Championship title belt graces the laces in a lace-lock fashion. A white midsole and a Mexican Flag-inspired outsole completed the special design.
