Last week, we shared the first official images of Nike’s latest Air Max 1 collaboration with Parra. Now, we have a look at the second shoe arriving with the pack later this month: the Air Zoom Spiridon ’16.
Piet Parra and Nike are legendary partners in the sneaker world. the two have famously decorated the Air Max 1 with the Dutch artist’s signature style multiple times, and now, they’re preparing to expand their offerings a bit. This time, the pair have pulled Nike’s Zoom Spiridon retro from 2016 to use as a canvas. Parra’s take on the Air Zoom Spiridon features many of the design cues from the matching Air Max 1. The main body of the upper on this pair comes in a crisp white mesh, highlighted by 3M silver trimming around the seams and lace loops. The lower textile layer of the shoe takes on the same series of patterns as its’ counterpart, utilizing an eclectic mix of haphazard stripes and polka dots in a mix of red, pink, navy blue, and grey. The large Swoosh on either side comes in baby blue, matched by the bright outsole.

The new Piet Parra x Nike footwear collection is scheduled for global release on July 21st, 2018. Alongside the Air Max 1, the Air Zoom Spiridon featured here will retail for around $160, and release from both Nike and select retailers.
