Nike’s All-White Air Force 1 Low Gets a Mixed Material Remix

0

Nike’s triple white Air Force 1 has been issued in a wide variety of versions, and Nike always has something fun to add to the classic look. This season, the shoe gets a new styling with a variety of leather patterns across its upper.

Of all the classic styles of Nike’s Air Force 1 Low, the white-on-white and black-on-black versions are the most iconic. Both pairs have been staples of the streetwear scene and Nike’s arsenal for several decades now, but both have also seen a wide variety of premium renditions, using special materials or constructions.

This season, Nike has a new Premium version of the Air Force 1 Low triple white rolling out in the near future. The pair adds a range of different textures to the shoe’s leather construction, unique to each panel. The toe box features an interlocking weave, while the mudguard comes in a tumbled leather. Midfoot sections are perforated, while the heel panel comes in a crocodile leather print. Finally, the Swooshes finish off the look with a simple smooth leather.

NIKE AIR FORCE 1 LOW PREMIUM “PATTERNS” RELEASE INFORMATION

New Balance’s “Dragon Berry” 2000 Releases Fall 2025

0

New Balance recently unveiled a brand new silhouette for 2025, the 2000. With the shoe’s debut expected this Summer, today we have an early look at a bright “Dragon Berry” pink color scheme, coming this Fall.

Our first look at the New Balance 2000 came early this month, when the Boston brand released some editorial images teasing the fresh silhouette. Their teaser showcased the shoe on the feet and on the streets of Brazil, in a smart marketing move to unveil the silhouette. They did not share any information regarding the idea behind the shoe or the technology inside, but its sleek, welded upper and cushioning-packed midsole indicate it will be both sporty and comfortable.

This week, we have an early look at one of the 2000’s initial color scheme, currently expected to arrive sometime in Fall of 2025. This look is the polar opposite of the cool baby blue style that first emerged, dressed in a shocking “Dragon Berry” pink shade. The hot pink color is accented by black for the laces, N logos, and lining, with hits of metallic silver to complete the look.

NEW BALANCE 2000 “DRAGON BERRY” RELEASE INFORMATION

New Balance’s all-new 2000 silhouette has not been announced for release yet, but this colorful “Dragon Berry” pink style is expected to drop sometime in Fall 2025. We still have very little information about the model, including its price, but expect pairs to be available from both NB and select retailers.

The Updated Jordan Trunner OS Releases in 2025

0

Jordan Brand’s iconic Trunner silhouette is making a return in 2025. The ’90s trainer/runner will return in its OG form, as well as a new style currently known as the Trunner OS. Seen here in “Cave Stone”, we expect a release sometime this Summer.

In 1998, Nike and Jordan Brand introduced the Trunner, a while hybrid sneaker that is part trainer and part runner. The model has become a cult classic, and seen a handful of rereleases over the years, one of which being Travis Scott’s first-ever sneaker collaboration back in 2017. During the NBA’s All-Star Weekend last week, JB showed off two new colors coming soon, and this week, we have an early look at the the silhouette’s 2025 update.

The emergence of an updated Jordan Trunner for 2025 was not exactly on the bingo card for this year, but is a fun surprise, especially when it looks this good. The new OS version leans a little more into a running shoe vibe, with looks somewhat akin to the New Balance 990v6. The base of the upper features a wide gauge mesh, with suede overlays for comfort and stability. The signature midfoot arch adds a new TPU cage for extra support, and a beefier midsole for better cushioning. The model appears in a “Cave Stone” colorway in leaked images, which appears as a tonal grey style.

JORDAN TRUNNER OS “CAVE STONE” RELEASE INFORMATION

Jordan Brand’s update to the ’90s Trunner, currently known as the OS, has not been announced yet, but is expected to debut sometime in 2025. Seen here in a muted grey “Cave Stone” color scheme, pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers, and are speculated to come with a price tag of $110.

The Saucony Matrix’ OG “Yellow” Colorway Returns in 2025

0

After two successful collaborations, Saucony is ready to give their retro Matrix model its first in-line release since 2000. One of their first releases of the trail runner will be a bright yellow color scheme, coming soon.

Saucony’s streak of exciting collaborations has brought a new wave of popularity to the Pennsylvania-founded footwear brand. Projects with Minted NY, Jae Tips, Costs, StarCow, and FootPatrol have all hit shelves in the last four months alone, and their in-line variants of the shoes used have seen a boost in popularity thanks to their great design team. This year, the brand is set to revive the Matrix trail runner, a ’90s silhouette that has had great success in recent months in collaboration with Jae Tips and Colour Plus.

Ben Stiller on the set of Zoolander (2001)

The Saucony Matrix is certainly not the first shoe from the running brand you’d expect to make a return in 2025. After the model’s ’90s debut, it was shelved in 2000 and has never seen a rerelease until now. The OG “Yellow” colorway that will kick off its release this year is the same pair worn by Ben Stiller on the set of Zoolander in 2001, with some minor adjustments to the color palette. The pair features a solid yellow molded upper, with a dark grey midsole and black overlays framing it. The River logo at the midfoot features a grey to white gradient, giving it the appearance of a reflective metallic material.

SAUCONY MATRIX OG “YELLOW” RELEASE INFORMATION

Saucony’s first in-line release of the ’90s Matrix trail runner does not have a set date yet, but is expected to release sometime soon in Spring 2025. Making its debut in a bright “Yellow” color scheme from 2000, the trail runner will be available from both Saucony and select retailers for an estimated $160 price tag.

New Balance 509 Spring 2025

After a few collaborative projects featuring the retro 509 silhouette, New Balance is gearing up to release their Spring 2025 in-line styles of the model in March. First up are two simple takes in black/white and grey/white.

New Balance’s 509 silhouette first arrived in the early 2010s, engineered as a high-tech running shoe for its time. Since then, the model’s sleek but plain aesthetics have firmly planted in the ‘dad shoe’ world. The model had its first modern release late last year in collaboration with Korean designer Do Hee Kim, of which they are following up this season with two more styles.

This week, we have our first look at a couple of in-line styles that will lead New Balance’s rollout of the 509. These pairs are simple in their color blocking, sticking with neutral shades for a classic NB look. The first pair comes in black and white, constructing the main body of the shoe in plain white with a black lower half and tongue sections. The second is much lighter, featuring a largely white upper with some cement grey mid layers and midsoles, as well as as a slight hit of mauve for the heels and laces.

NEW BALANCE 509 SPRING 2025 RELEASE INFORMATION
