New Balance 990v6 “Light Mushroom” Releases Tomorrow

New Balance’s 990v6, the sixth evolution of their iconic running line, has been a staple of their Made in USA catalog since its debut. This week, we got an early look at an upcoming pair in “Light Mushroom”, making its overseas debut this week.

New Balance has expanded their lifestyle offerings dramatically in recent years; exploring more colors and modern sneaker constructions. However, they have kept their iconic simple styles going, using models like the 990v6 to bridge the gap between performance and lifestyle footwear. The silhouette is gearing up for another year of excellent releases, like new collaborations from Action Bronson in addition to new in-line styles.

This week will bring the release of the latest style of the Made in USA runner, dressing the shoe in a “Light Mushroom” palette that will also come in a 998 styling. The v6 version features an off-white mesh base, adding its overlays in varying shades of tan and brown for a layered look. This pair ditches the usual suede panels in favor of an all-leather construction, and adds a dark teal tongue label for a splash of color.

Nike’s “Ceramic” Air Max Waffle Arrives in June

Nike launched their Air Max Waffle last Winter, a hybrid silhouette combining two of the brand’s most innovative technologies. This month, the model lands in a new “Ceramic” orange colorway for Summer.

Last year, Nike debuted a surprising new hybrid sneaker, which combined their classic Waffle running shoe with the more technical Air Max Tuned technology. Dubbed the Air Max Waffle, the model launched in November, and delivers a good-looking mix of two styles from very different eras of Swoosh innovation. Now, the silhouette is back in 2025 with new colorways for Summer.

Since its debut in November, the Air Max Waffle has only released in a small selection of colorways. Nike seems to be playing this one close to the chest, with few styles of this unique look available. This week, we got an early look at one of their Summer styles, coming to boutique retailers this month. The new pair is dressed in two shades of orange across its nylon mesh base and suede overlays. The lower layer comes in the darker Ceramic shade, while the suede pieces use Bright Ceramic for a tonal look. Tongues and midsoles are added in sail white to offset the pure orange palette.

New Balance 992 Made in USA “Sweet Caramel” Drops in June

The New Balance 992 has returned to the brand’s catalog over the last year, after taking a short few years’ hiatus. Next week, the model arrives in new Made in USA styles, like this “Sweet Caramel” brown edition.

New Balance’s 992 silhouette had quite a moment in 2020, as the Boston brand’s retro stylings were hitting peak popularity. The 2006 model was at the epicenter of their catalog for that year, appearing in tons of in-line and Made in USA releases as well as a wide range of collaborations. In 2022, the model was put on the back burner, disappearing from release calendars for a few years until returning to the MiUSA line in 2024.

This season, the 992 is back in full swing, after a handful of colorways have already hit shelves. Several collaborations have helped restore the model’s glory as well, including JFG’s “Aged Well” pair, Kith’s “Osaka” store opening special edition, and an Action Bronson “Baklava” pair in the pipeline. While we await that pair, a new “Sweet Caramel” color has been added to next week’s releases, coloring the shoe in a rich brown suede for the upper, paired with white and cream accents.

First Look: Every Now And Then x New Balance Fresh Foam RCVRY

JoeFreshGoods expanded his empire in 2022 with Every Now And Then, a retail store concept and resource hub in Chicago. This Summer, the brand is launching its debut collaboration with New Balance, a bright green Fresh Foam RCVRY slipper.

Joe Robinson, AKA JoeFreshGoods, has been one of the most bankable collaborators in the sneaker world for five years running. Along the way, JFG has launched several other ventures, Community Goods, a nonprofit supporting arts education, and Every Now And Then, a retail & resource company in his hometown.

This week, Every now And Then announced that they would be joining the greater New Balance family, and kicking things off with a footwear collaboration. Featuring the Fresh Foam X RCVRY slipper, a post-workout model designed entirely for comfort and completes with foot massaging details, the “everydays” as they call them, come in the signature bright Kelly green shade. The pair comes packaged in a matching green shoe box, teased in their IG announcement video. While release details have not been specified, the unveiling of the shoe came alongside the announcement of a block party in Chicago this Saturday, so stop by for a chance at a pair if you’re in the area.

Nike Adds Extra Ventilation to a New Air Max Sunder

The Air Max Sunder retro from Nike has seen a ton of releases already hit shelves, including a special collaboration with Kids of Immigrants. Now, a new Vent variation is coming this Summer, dressed in “Obsidian” blue for its debut.

Nike’s Air Max Sunder retro is now nearly a year into its revival, staying true to the shoe’s original design with a handful of new colorways. The Kids of Immigrants collaboration is the only variant version currently on the market, with a revised cage system that adds a grid to the entire upper of the silhouette. However, this Summer the Swoosh will introduce a new riff on the classic model, adding some extra ventilation for the warmer seasons.

The new format of the Air Max Sunder, which we are calling Vent, provides a more breathable version of the retro runner for warm weather. The silhouette’s neoprene outer shell is not exactly known for its air flow qualities, and Nike is amending that with this updated look. The shoe’s shape and construction is the same, but the outer layer adds a few new ventilation holes to the toes and midfoot, even eliminating the added Swoosh in favor of a simple cutout version for branding. Seen here in an “Obsidian” dark blue shade, the palette adds darker navy shades as well as a splash of Sundial orange to complete the look.

NIKE AIR MAX SUNDER VENT “OBSIDIAN” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s latest style of the Air Max Sunder has not been given an official release date yet, but will likely arrive as a part of their Summer 2025 lineup. Adding extra ventilation to the shoe’s neoprene outer shell, the “Obsidian” blue color scheme will be available from both Nike and select retailers, and is expected to carry the same $180 price tag.

Patta Teases Their Take on the Nike CryoShot Mercurial M9

0

Last week, Nike unveiled the CryoShot line, featuring modified soccer boots made into walkable sneakers. Now, Patta has teased that they are joining in on the fun with a special pair of the Mercurial M9 style.

#BootsOnlySummer is upon us, as heralded by fashion-forward TikTok users over the last few months. The new trend in style is to wear soccer cleats as everyday shoes, though the use of cleats on hard surfaces like asphalt is generally bad for everyone involved, the shoe, the ground, and feet. In response, brands have been working on modified versions of iconic cleats, with Nike’s answer being the CryoShot line.

Just a few days after Nike unveiled their CryoShot models, team members at Patta, one of their frequent collaborators, have teased a special edition pair of boots in their own color scheme. Shown in just a few photos, the Patta logo is clearly seen on the tongue of this pair of the CryoShot Mercurial M9. The look comes in glossy black and silver for its wavy upper, adding piping, Swooshes, and branding in a bright safety orange shade.

PATTA X NIKE CRYOSHOT MERCURIAL M9 RELEASE INFORMATION

Patta is expected to release their take on Nike’s new CryoShot line this Summer, though no release details have been confirmed yet. The silhouette seen here is the Mercurial M9 boot from the late 90s, dressed in lack, silver and orange with an added flap covering the laces. Pairs will likely be available from both Patta and Nike, and no pricing info is available yet.

Nike Embraces TikTok Trends with the Cryoshot Boots

0

#BootsOnlySummer is here, and people are living their everyday lives walking around in soccer cleats. It sounds crazy, but brands are jumping on the trend with modified versions of iconic boots, like Nike’s CryoShot collection, coming soon.

Over the last month, TikTok users have been amplifying a new footwear trend for the Summer, Boots Only. Fashion-forward people are taking to the streets in soccer cleats, wearing their studded trainers everywhere. In response to the new style, brands have been crafting special pairs of boots that keep the look of classic cleats, encasing them in clear rubber or plastic to make them more suitable for everyday wear. Last week, Nike tossed their hat into the ring with the CryoShot collection.

Nike has pulled two legendary boots from their archives to give the new CryoShot treatment to this Summer. First up, the Mercurial R9, worn by Ronaldo during the 1998 features a wavy upper with blue and grey stripes, and bold yellow Swooshes on either side. The second pair is the Tiempo Legend 10R, a boot worn by Ronaldinho circa 2005. Both pairs have been outfitted with a clear rubberized shell on the bottom, making them suitable for wear on everyday streets, but still showing off their original cleated purpose.

NIKE CRYSHOT RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike has not yet announced the debut of their new CryoShot line, though pairs are expected to release soon, to jump on the #BootsOnly Summer trend. Featuring some of their iconic cleats, now made into walkable form, pairs will likely be limited, and available through Nike and select retailers. Pricing is currently unknown.

Nike Taps Hyein Seo to Launch the New Ava Rover

Summer is almost here, and Nike is gearing up to introduce a sleek new silhouette for the season. They’ve tapped an up-and-coming Korean fashion label, Hyein Seo, to be the first to iterate on their Ava Rover, coming soon.

Hyein Seo is a Korean fashion label, founded in 2014 by their designer of the same name. Seo is a graduate of Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, the same school that helped greats like Denma Gvasalia and Martin Margiela on their rise to fame. The label focuses on womenswear, but drafts most of their outerwear and bottoms in unisex sizing, creating an androgynous fit with designs that evoke futuristic techwear and post-apocalyptic styling.

This week, Nike has unveiled Hyein Seo’s take on the Ava Rover, a brand new lifestyle silhouette that aligns perfectly with their techy approach to fashion. The new model features a synthetic welded upper with reinforcement along the lower half, minimal materials for an ultralight finish, and most notably, a full-length ReactX foam midsole underfoot. Hyein Seo’s take on the silhouette comes in a “Sequoia” dark green color, paired with black midsoles and accents in Cargo Khaki green.

Nike SB Dunk Orange Label “Burgundy Crush” Drops Spring 2026

Nike SB Dunk releases for the next year have been piling up in recent weeks. Today, we have an early look at one of their Orange Label releases for the Spring 2026 season, dressed in “Burgundy Crush” red.

The SB Dunk has been a mainstay for Nike since the variant model was first introduced in 2002, alongside the Swoosh’s third attempt at entering the skate world. The refined version of the classic model makes some subtle changes to the OG, the most notable being the puffy tongue for extra padding. While SB has released a ton of special pairs over the past two decades, their Orange Label series remains some of the best. Drafted in simple colorways and sold exclusively through skate shops, Orange Label is the brand’s way of giving back to their retail partners.

This week, a new Orange Label release has surfaced, currently expected to hit store in Spring 2026. The new pair once again features a simple color blocking, dousing the model’s upper in a tonal look, while breaking things up with a different colored Swoosh and midsole. This edition comes in “Burgundy Crush”, a dark red color popular in Nike’s catalog over the last few years. Swooshes come in black, with a white and gum midsole to complete the look.

NIKE SB DUNK LOW “BURGUNDY CRUSH” RELEASE INFORMATION

The latest pair of the Nike SB Dunk Orange Label to surface is not expected to hit shelves until sometime in Spring 2026. Dressed in a dark “Burgundy Crush” red suede, pairs will be available exclusively through skate shops, with a price tag of $110.

The Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Washed Teal” Releases in June

Air Jordan 1 Low OG Washed Teal HQ8111-300

The Air Jordan 1 Low OG is a perfect Summer variant for its high-top counterpart, offering all the same iconic style in a more condensed package. This season, the shoe is getting an interesting new dip-dyed look in Washed Teal, coming soon.

The Air Jordan 1 has been plentiful over the last few years, with Jordan and Nike easing up on some of their restrictions surrounding the iconic model, and allowing a huge variety of new styles to hit the market. This included the return of the shoe’s mid-cut version as well as the simplified low top look, both in the modern and OG formats. This Summer, the AJ1 Low OG is getting an interesting new look in women’s sizing, featuring a seemingly dip-dyed color scheme.

The upcoming new pair of the Air Jordan 1 Low comes with some interesting new details for the iconic silhouette. Using the shoe’s ‘OG’ construction instead of the ’85 edition, this slimmer pair is constructed entirely from suede, using a smooth suede for the buk of the shoe and a shaggy version for the Swooshes. Additionally, the pair appears to have been made in an all-white build, and then dip dyed in a refreshing “Washed Teal” shade of blue.

AIR JORDAN 1 LOW OG “WASHED TEAL” RELEASE INFORMATION

The next new style of the classic Air Jordan 1 Low OG is currently expected to release on June 18th, 2025. Featuring a dip-dyed “Washed Teal” color scheme over an all-suede shoe, this women’s pair will be available from Nike and select retailers like Nordstrom for $140.
