Nike Embraces TikTok Trends with the Cryoshot Boots

0

#BootsOnlySummer is here, and people are living their everyday lives walking around in soccer cleats. It sounds crazy, but brands are jumping on the trend with modified versions of iconic boots, like Nike’s CryoShot collection, coming soon.

Over the last month, TikTok users have been amplifying a new footwear trend for the Summer, Boots Only. Fashion-forward people are taking to the streets in soccer cleats, wearing their studded trainers everywhere. In response to the new style, brands have been crafting special pairs of boots that keep the look of classic cleats, encasing them in clear rubber or plastic to make them more suitable for everyday wear. Last week, Nike tossed their hat into the ring with the CryoShot collection.

Nike has pulled two legendary boots from their archives to give the new CryoShot treatment to this Summer. First up, the Mercurial R9, worn by Ronaldo during the 1998 features a wavy upper with blue and grey stripes, and bold yellow Swooshes on either side. The second pair is the Tiempo Legend 10R, a boot worn by Ronaldinho circa 2005. Both pairs have been outfitted with a clear rubberized shell on the bottom, making them suitable for wear on everyday streets, but still showing off their original cleated purpose.

NIKE CRYSHOT RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike has not yet announced the debut of their new CryoShot line, though pairs are expected to release soon, to jump on the #BootsOnly Summer trend. Featuring some of their iconic cleats, now made into walkable form, pairs will likely be limited, and available through Nike and select retailers. Pricing is currently unknown.

Nike Taps Hyein Seo to Launch the New Ava Rover

0

Summer is almost here, and Nike is gearing up to introduce a sleek new silhouette for the season. They’ve tapped an up-and-coming Korean fashion label, Hyein Seo, to be the first to iterate on their Ava Rover, coming soon.

Hyein Seo is a Korean fashion label, founded in 2014 by their designer of the same name. Seo is a graduate of Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, the same school that helped greats like Denma Gvasalia and Martin Margiela on their rise to fame. The label focuses on womenswear, but drafts most of their outerwear and bottoms in unisex sizing, creating an androgynous fit with designs that evoke futuristic techwear and post-apocalyptic styling.

This week, Nike has unveiled Hyein Seo’s take on the Ava Rover, a brand new lifestyle silhouette that aligns perfectly with their techy approach to fashion. The new model features a synthetic welded upper with reinforcement along the lower half, minimal materials for an ultralight finish, and most notably, a full-length ReactX foam midsole underfoot. Hyein Seo’s take on the silhouette comes in a “Sequoia” dark green color, paired with black midsoles and accents in Cargo Khaki green.

HYEIN SEO X NIKE AVA ROVER “SEQUOIA” RELEASE INFORMATION

Supreme’s signature AF1 has become a staple of their seasonal releases, restocking every season through their website and retail stores. Nike SB Dunk Orange Label “Burgundy Crush” Drops Spring 2026

Nike SB Dunk releases for the next year have been piling up in recent weeks. Today, we have an early look at one of their Orange Label releases for the Spring 2026 season, dressed in “Burgundy Crush” red.

The SB Dunk has been a mainstay for Nike since the variant model was first introduced in 2002, alongside the Swoosh’s third attempt at entering the skate world. The refined version of the classic model makes some subtle changes to the OG, the most notable being the puffy tongue for extra padding. While SB has released a ton of special pairs over the past two decades, their Orange Label series remains some of the best. Drafted in simple colorways and sold exclusively through skate shops, Orange Label is the brand’s way of giving back to their retail partners.

This week, a new Orange Label release has surfaced, currently expected to hit store in Spring 2026. The new pair once again features a simple color blocking, dousing the model’s upper in a tonal look, while breaking things up with a different colored Swoosh and midsole. This edition comes in “Burgundy Crush”, a dark red color popular in Nike’s catalog over the last few years. Swooshes come in black, with a white and gum midsole to complete the look.

NIKE SB DUNK LOW “BURGUNDY CRUSH” RELEASE INFORMATION

The latest pair of the Nike SB Dunk Orange Label to surface is not expected to hit shelves until sometime in Spring 2026. Dressed in a dark “Burgundy Crush” red suede, pairs will be available exclusively through skate shops, with a price tag of $110.

The Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Washed Teal” Releases in June

Air Jordan 1 Low OG Washed Teal HQ8111-300

The Air Jordan 1 Low OG is a perfect Summer variant for its high-top counterpart, offering all the same iconic style in a more condensed package. This season, the shoe is getting an interesting new dip-dyed look in Washed Teal, coming soon.

The Air Jordan 1 has been plentiful over the last few years, with Jordan and Nike easing up on some of their restrictions surrounding the iconic model, and allowing a huge variety of new styles to hit the market. This included the return of the shoe’s mid-cut version as well as the simplified low top look, both in the modern and OG formats. This Summer, the AJ1 Low OG is getting an interesting new look in women’s sizing, featuring a seemingly dip-dyed color scheme.

The upcoming new pair of the Air Jordan 1 Low comes with some interesting new details for the iconic silhouette. Using the shoe’s ‘OG’ construction instead of the ’85 edition, this slimmer pair is constructed entirely from suede, using a smooth suede for the buk of the shoe and a shaggy version for the Swooshes. Additionally, the pair appears to have been made in an all-white build, and then dip dyed in a refreshing “Washed Teal” shade of blue.

AIR JORDAN 1 LOW OG “WASHED TEAL” RELEASE INFORMATION

The next new style of the classic Air Jordan 1 Low OG is currently expected to release on June 18th, 2025. Featuring a dip-dyed “Washed Teal” color scheme over an all-suede shoe, this women’s pair will be available from Nike and select retailers like Nordstrom for $140.

At the time, SouthFoot was an online-only destination for sourcing rare goods, specifically Nike shoes, in South Korea, before evolving into the major retailer they are today. Their long history of bringing Nike sneakers to customers has now landed them their first-ever collaboration with the Swoosh, coming soon.

The debut project from WORKSOUT and Nike will feature the Air Max 95, which is celebrating its twentieth anniversary this year. Teased via a new website that imitates their original SouthFoot shop, the site shows off a range of OG AM95 colors, as well as one blurred out pair in their “Uniform” green color scheme. Two styles will reportedly be available in this project, the second one previously unknown, and will release in very limited quantities, likely restricted to Korea.

Jordan’s Trunner LX in “Light Orewood Brown” is Coming Soon

0

Earlier this year, Jordan Brand previewed the return of their Trunner LX silhouette for 2025. Now, more colorways are starting to emerge, like this “Light Orewood Brown” style that appeared in official images this morning.

During NBA All-Star Weekend in February, Nike and Jordan Brand took over the Bay Area to showcase and release tons of new product. During one of the private events hosted by Jordan, they showed off a wealth of upcoming product, from new retro colors to the return of their Trunner LX, a hybrid runner and trainer that debuted in 2000. Two bright colorways were shown at the event, but the last week has brought us early looks at different styles.

Last week, the Trunner LX surfaced in official images of a new “Luminous Green” style. Tpday, a fourth pair has crossed our timelines, bringing the Light Orewood Brown” shade to the cult-classic silhouette. The look uses the pale tan hue to color the shoe’s mesh portions, heel straps, and midsole, while the rest of the silhouette is outfitted in Anthracite black.

Nike’s “Blue Camo” Air Max Sunder Releases Summer 2025

Nike’s revival of the Air Max Sunder is one of our favorite Swoosh retros in recent years, and the brand has plenty of styles to satiate us for the coming Summer. This week, a new “Blue Camo” style has surfaced, coming soon.

The Swoosh has been on a roll with their retro Air Max releases as of late, with the latest Alpha Project shoe, the Craze, hitting shelves this month. The other big release of the last year was the return of the Air Max Sunder, another turn-of-the-century Alpha model with a similar zippered shroud and neoprene upper. The Sunder has been a long-awaited retro for many Air Max heads, and Nike is giving us tons of options for the iconic model.

The latest new style for the Sunder brings a camouflage pattern to the runner, applying a mix of blue shades to the neoprene outer shell to create the look. The pattern used is most akin to a tiger camo print, and mixes hues of Court Blue, Aluminum, and Blue Tint to achieve its watery style. The shoe’s mudguards and other accents like the inner lining, zipper, and outsole come in black to complete the look.

NIKE AIR MAX SUNDER “BLUE CAMO” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s upcoming “Blue Camo” style of the Air Max Sunder retro does not have a release date yet, but is currently expected to release sometime in Summer 2025. A$AP Rocky x PUMA Inhale “Silver” Available Now

0

A$AP Rocky has been on a roll with his PUMA collaborations over the last year. This week, the two have quietly released their latest style of the Inhale, dressed in grey tones with bright lace options for a colorful twist.

A$AP Rocky’s partnership with PUMA took an unusual turn in 2023, when the German brand named him as the Creative Director for their partnership with Formula 1. Rocky was given final say on all of the partnership’s projects and releases, and even added his own touch to several sneaker drops, before moving on to his own releases outside of the F1 series. Their main focus for the last few collections has been the Inhale sneaker, which touched down in a new color scheme today.

PUMA’s Inhale model originally arrived in 2000, as a performance running model. The shoe’s exaggerated contours and swooping lines made it ripe for streetwear style, and its return in the last two years has proved fruitful, largely in part to A$AP Rocky. Their latest pair is available today, and is arguably the most tame look yet. The shoe comes mainly in two shades of grey; light and dark, adding black and red accents through the midfoot and sole. Adding a pop of extra color, this pair comes with four different lace options, neon blue & green, red, and black.

A$AP ROCKY X PUMA INHALE “SILVER” RELEASE INFORMATION

A$AP Rocky and PUMA have quietly released the latest pair in their ongoing series of Inhale silhouette releases, on May 30th, 2025. This time dressed in a palette of silver, dark grey, and red accents, each pair comes with several bright lace options, and is now available directly from the brand’s website for $140.

The latest style of the SB Dunk Pro gives the silhouette a Spring-ready makeover in a light “Pale Ivory” color scheme. This pair sports a suede upper in the soft off-white shade, with plain white mesh added for the collars and tongue, as well as the inner lining.
