The model features a sleek, runner-inspired look, and appears to add a rubberized lower half of the silhouette, which the SHIRT team has used to their advantage in colorblocking. Color options come in black, or primary shades of red & blue.

The “No Swoosh” Air Jordan 1 Low Release in Triple White This Summer

Jordan Brand has an interesting slate of retro releases coming up through the remainder of 2025. Recently, we’ve had official looks at the 2016 “No Swoosh” Air Jordan 1 Low, which will return in its triple white colorway soon.

Back in 2016, Air Jordan 1 releases were still few and far between, as Nike kept the iconic shoe close to their chest. Releases often experimented with new takes on the classic silhouette, like the “No Swoosh” edition of the Air Jordan 1 Low. This version removed the Nike branding from the classic basketball shoe, an interesting choice amidst the era of logomania in sneakers and streetwear.

This year, Jordan Brand is ready to bring back the NS edition of the Air Jordan 1 Low. We already had an early look at retailer images for the black & sail pair earlier this month, and today, another style from the original 2016 run has surfaced, a simple triple white build. Featuring the same pebbled leather uppers as the original, the simplified style evoked that of designer sneakers like Common Projects, but with the shape and style of the forever classic Air Jordan 1.

AIR JORDAN 1 LOW NS “TRIPLE WHITE” RELEASE INFORMATION

The rerelease of the Air Jordan 1 Low “No Swoosh” has not been officially announced yet, but is currently speculated to release sometime in July 2025. Featuring the same Swoosh-less triple white pebbled leather design as the original, pairs will likely be available from both Nike and select retailers for a cool $150.

Kids of Immigrants’ Nike Air Max Sunder “Concrete Sky” is an F&F Pair

Kids of Immigrants is riding high on their recent Nike releases over the past few years. This week, a third colorway of their unique spin on the Air Max Sunder has emerged, and the “Concrete Sky” look is expected to release in Summer 2025.

Kids of Immigrants was founded in Los Angeles in 2016, and has been on the rise ever since. The name is fairly self-explanatory in regards to their history and founders, and their unique designs have caught the eyes of Nike. Their first team-up with the Swoosh came with the introduction of the ‘big bubble’ Air Max 1 ’86, and gave KoI the chance to create and release several limited-edition colorways exclusively through an LA pop-up. Last year, KoI released their first official collaboration, reimagining the Air Max Sunder in two bright colorways that racked up SOTY nominations.

It appears Kids of Immigrants and Nike are not quite done with their stylized take on the retro Sunder, as a third color scheme dubbed “Concrete Sky” has surfaced this week. The pair is currently rumored to release this Summer, but could be a F&F or sample pair from the development process. The look features an olive grey base for the upper with its cage and toe caps in navy blue and light blue. Bright yellow Swooshes and linings and vivid purple pull tabs nod to their first two releases of the reworked silhouette.

Jalen Brunson’s Nike Kobe 6 “Statue of Liberty” PE Releases Holiday 2025

Nike’s Kobe line is back in full force, with tons of new releases arriving over the last year, and plenty more to look forward to. Among them is Jalen Brunson’s “Statue of Liberty” PE, which will reportedly get a public release during this year’s holiday season.

Koe Bryant’s signature sneaker line with Nike is running up the score with all of its upcoming releases, using the Protro format to bring these iconic silhouettes back to the professional basketball court. Many of Nike’s athletes without their own signature shoes have been spotted wearing Kobes in-game, and many of them have special PE editions created in their team colors or celebrating an aspect of the cities they play in. During the Knicks’ playoff run this year, Jalen Brunson sported a Kobe 6 in colors inspired by the State of Liberty, which releases to the public later this year.

The Statue of Liberty has had its fair share of sneaker releases over the years, thanks to being one of the most iconic symbols of New York City and the USA as a whole. Nike released Dunk Highs and Hyperposites in 2011 & 2012 celebrating the statue, and adidas had an UltraBoost release in the late 2010s for the NYC marathon. Now, Jalen Brunson’s bright turquoise PE will release to the public later this year. The pair features the Hyper Turquoise tone across the shoe’s spotted upper, covering nearly every aspect of the silhouette. Small hits of metallic copper are added to the heel counter, Swooshes, and Kobe logo to nod to the statue’s original copper finish.

New Balance Blends Moccasins & Runners for the New 1890

0

Paris Fashion Week is upon us, and with it comes a ton of new sneaker sightings to cover. One of this week’s most interesting unveiling is an early look at a brand new New Balance model, the 1890, dressed in a snakeskin style.

When New Balance was a fledgling brand in 1906, the company did not make full footwear. They offered an arch support insert for other shoes, before introducing their first track shoes in 1938. They have come a long way since then, amassing a massive archive of different styles geared towards various sports and running styles. Their designs of gotten more adventurous in recent years, like with the 1906L loafer and the Allerdale walking shoe, and this week that unique group of shoes has expanded with the unveiling of the 1890.

New Balance’s senior marketing manager, Lee Stuart, gave us an early look at a brand new model from NB, presumably shared from Fashion Week festivities in Paris. Dubbed the 1890, the new model blends a Wallabee-style moccasin upper with more classic NB elements, like extra paneling and a running inspired sole unit form the 1906. The shoe, seen here in a butter yellow leather look with snakeskin accents, features a traditional two-piece construction ala the Wallabee, adding a series of overlays across the tongues, toes, and heels.

NEW BALANCE 1890 “SNAKESKIN” RELEASE INFORMATION

New Balance has not announced any plans for the debut of their new 1890 silhouette, but the model is currently speculated to release in late 2025 or Spring 2026. Blending a Wallabee-style moccasin silhouette with paneling and midsoles from running shoes, the new model will be available through both NB and select retailers, though no pricing info is available yet.

AURALEE Unveils Their New Balance 204L Pack

0

Paris Fashion Week is upon us, and with it comes a ton of new sneaker sightings to cover. Today, Japanese brand AURALEE held their runway show for Spring/Summer 2026, teasing their take on the New Balance 204L in the process.

New Balance is preparing for a brand new sneaker launch this Summer with the 204L. Tackling the trend of super slim sneakers head on, the new model borrows some design features from plenty of NB iconic, but mounts the runner-inspired upper on a brand new sole unit. Like adidas’ exploration into ballet flats and martial arts footwear, the 204L leans into the barely-there soles we’ve seen explode in fashion circles over the last few months.

This week another frequent New Balance collaborator has unveiled their take on the new trainer; Japan’s AURALEE. Following in the footsteps of Kith and Basketcase, AURALEE is the third brand to unveil a collaboration featuring the new model, though theirs will not release until the Spring 2026 season. Two pairs are a part of the pack, the first in a grey mesh with white overlays, adding small hints of tan, cream, and yellow to the many panels. The second is more tonal, offering up a full suede build the silhouette in a rich chocolate brown tone.

AURALEE X NEW BALANCE 204L PACK RELEASE INFORMATION

The next project from Japanese brand AURALEE and New Balance has been teased for their Spring 2026 release, so no date has been announced yet. Featuring two colors of the slim 204L trainer, one in white with grey accents and the second in a rich chocolate brown suede, pairs will likely be available through both partners and select retailers.
