Nike’s 3D-Printed Air Max 1000 in “Oat” Releases in August

Late last year, Nike unveiled their first 3D-printed sneaker model, the Air Max 1000. Created in partnership with Zellerfeld, the current leader in printed footwear, the model will finally get a public release this Summer in the “Oatmeal” color scheme.

3D-printing is not a new concept in the world of sneakers. adidas has been printing midsoles for their Futurecraft line of shoes since 2017, and have recently taken it to a new level with a fully printed ClimaCool silhouette. Another major player in printed footwear is Zellerfeld, a German 3D print house that accepts designs from a wide variety of people and brands, and custom prints shoes for each costumer. Last year, Nike unveiled their first model with Zellerfeld, the Air Max 1000.

After its unveiling in 2024, Nike brought a range of colors for the 1000 to their booth at ComplexCon. Some lucky fans were able to win a chance to buy the shoes in the initial red color scheme, though they were silent about when the shoes would release to the public. Now, that drop appears to be right around the corner, as Nike has gifted sneaker influencer @jcheyenne_ a pair of the “Oatmeal” colorway. Rumored to release this summer, the entire shoe is made from an off-white filament, with a bright orange Air bubble inserted into the heels.

Produced in collaboration with Zellerfeld, the “Oatmeal” colorway is expected to be the shoe’s debut, and will likely be available in very limited numbers through the SNKRS app for $210.

Salehe’s Crocs Cypress Boot in “Tetra” Releases Next Week

Last year, Salehe Bembury debuted another new silhouette with Crocs. In a departure from their molded clogs, the two produced a hybrid canvas & rubber boot dubbed the Cypress. This month, they finally have a second release coming, in “Tetra” blue.

Salehe Bembury’s partnership with Crocs has delivered some of the most comfortable casual footwear of this decade. His first foray into their molded rubber creations was the Pollex Clog, an incredibly unique and refreshing take on their iconic silhouette. The shoe featured an adaptation of Bembry’s own fingerprint to create a tread pattern around the entire shoe, and this has since been implemented onto nearly every sneaker Salehe releases, including the Cypress boot.

After making its debut last Winter, the Crocs Cypress boot has not had another release. Inspired by the iconic LL Bean boot, the shoe features a canvas ankle and collar section, with a molded rubber main body and fingerprint outsole that reaches up the sides of the shoe. This week, SB and Crocs have announced their second release, in a fresh “Tetra” colorway. The look features a teal blue shade for the canvas panels, and a dark brown main body. Gum rubber soles complete the look.

Song For The Mute Officially Unveils Their adidas AdiZero PR Pack

0

Song for the Mute and adidas originally teased their next collection back in January. Now, we have an official look at their three styles of the AdiZero PR runner, a vintage performance model previously only available in Japan.

Song for the Mute is an Australian-founded brand, started by Melvin Tanaya and Lyna Ty in 2010. The name is a nod to their intention to give a voice to the voiceless, and their main goal is to create clothing that tells stories of their personal experiences and interactions with people, materials, and sounds. Each season is purposefully crafted to look distinctly different from the last, from colors to textiles and more. Since 2022, they’ve been working with adidas to pair sneakers with new apparel pieces, and created a cult following in the process.

Early this year, SFTM showed off a range of new adidas pieces during a showcase in Pairs. We’ve been waiting for an official announcement, and this week we have a closer look at the AdiZero PR pack for the coming release. Originally released in 2004 as a Japan-exclusive runner, the silhouette is back for the first time in modern history. Three colors are a part of the SFTM 006 series, one in white with silver overlays, the second in black with white accents, and finally a brick red shade with cream and silver hits.

First Look at Bad Bunny’s adidas Stone Slide

Bad Bunny’s Puerto Rico residency is officially underway this week. After his PR-exclusive Gazelles launched, he teased another upcoming adidas project. Check out Benito’s new Three Stripes slides, coming soon.

Bad Bunny and adidas have been prolific with their sneaker releases over the past few years. The two first linked up back in 2021, releasing a string of modified Forum styles in special colorways. Since then, Benito and the Three Stripes have collaborated on a number of silhouettes together, including the Ballerina, SL72, Response CL, and Campus.

This month, BB started his residency in Puerto Rico, where he will perform a total of thirty shows before wrapping up in September. To celebrate adidas crafted two styles of his Gazelle Indoor exclusive to the island nation. This week, Benito gave us a closer look at a mysterious slide he sported during a Late Night with Seth Meyers taping. The new silhouette features a sculpted foam build, adding three stripes that wrap around the entirety of the forefoot strap. More stripes appear on the insoles, using his signature ridged edge version that appears on all of his adidas sneakers.

Bad Bunny x Mercedes x adidas AdiRacer GT Revealed in Puerto Rico

Bad Bunny Mercedes adidas AdiRacer GT

Last week, Bad Bunny and adidas announced a new partnership with Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team, bringing Formula 1 to Puerto Rico for the first time ever. Now, the three have unveiled a capsule collection, featuring a unique pair of the AdiRacer GT.

The last few weeks have been a whirlwind of exciting news about Bad Bunny. First, the Puerto Rican musician kicked off his residency concert series in PR, which will run 30 shows until mid-September. Then, last week, he announced a new partnership with Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1, helping to bring Formula 1 to PR for the first time in history. In the same announcement, Benito teased a new adidas sneaker, and announced a three-way collaboration between himself, adidas, and Mercedes.

Over the weekend, while the Mercedes AMG car was making history on a drive around PR, adidas hosted a special exhibition at the country’s art museum. Dubbed The Archive, the exhibit showed off over 150 prior and upcoming Bad Bunny x adidas releases, as well as dozens of sample pairs. Among them was our first look at the project including Mercedes, showing off a brand new style of the AdiRacer GT. This is the same sneaker BB was spotted wearing last week, but this pair has been heavily reworked to resemble actual F1 drivers’ shoes. The new look adds a plastic outer shell for support, a smooth suede commonly seen in drivers’ shoes, and special branding down the toes that boasts both AMG and Bad Bunny branding.

The Nike Air Flightposite “Baroque Brown” Releases Fall 2025

0

Nike surprised us last year with the return of the Air Flightposite, a late ’90s basketball silhouette with a molded Foamposite upper. This week, we have our first look at a new “Baroque Brown” style coming later in 2025.

Nike’s Foamposite technology changed their approach to basketball shoes dramatically in the 1990s. The line of molded silhouettes, which provided a tough outer shell with incredible comfort thanks to Zoom Air, is back for another run of releases this year. While the Foamposite One has been the main focus so far, other models like the Air Flightposite are back on shelves, with new colorways still in the pipeline for 2025.

Nike’s initial releases for the Air Flightposite retro are already here, kicking off with the “Green Goblin” pair in October, followed by a triple-black style last month. This week, we have our first look at a new “Baroque Brown” style of the 1999 silhouette, currently expected for the holiday season. The new look pits the shoe’s molded outer shell in a dark, chocolatey brown shade with a matte finish. This is framed by black for the outsoles, zipper shroud, and mesh panels on the medial sides, while a tiny blue accent appears on the heels to complete the look.

First Look at the CLOT x adidas AE1

CLOT adidas AE1 Low

CLOT has bene firing on all cylinders with their adidas projects for the last two years. This week, they’ve surprised us by switching gears for a performance release, taking on Anthony Edwards’ AE1 Low for a special project, coming soon.

When CLOT ended their Nike relationship in favor of adidas in 2023, they kicked things off with a series of upscale takes on Three Stripes classics. Taking inspiration from formal footwear, they gussied up Superstars, Stan Smiths, and Gazelles. These silhouettes all fall firmly in the brand’s Originals category, and we have been waiting to see if Edison Chen would take his projects in a more streetwear-minded direction. Lo and behold, he is, with a special release of a performance basketball shoe.

Last week, rumors began to swirl about a new three-way collaboration from CLOT, working with Anthony Edwards’ AE1 Low model. Bodega Reimagines PUMA’s Formstrip on a New Suede Project

0

Bodega is back, baby. After a rocky few years which included store closures and a website shutdown, the iconic store is back with a new release. This time, they’ve teamed up with PUMA to deliver a customizable pair of the classic Suede sneaker.

Renowned sneaker retailer Bodega is back. The store was founded twenty years ago, and delivered on an incredible premise of a secret, speakeasy-style shopping experience. Their first store in Boston was quite literally hidden behind a bodega, behind a Snapple fridge that housed an entire luxury retail experience. In 2022, the store began having some fulfillment issues, which evolved over the next few years until early in 2025 when it all came to a head. Bodega was forced to close the doors on their OG location as well as the online store, even shuttering the LA location for a few months while they reorganized.

Luckily, founder Jay Gordon never give up. Despite nearly all of their office staff being let go, Bodega has persevered, and triumphantly returns this season with their first collab release since the shutdown. The project centers around the PUMA Suede, an iconic basketball-turned-lifestyle model. BDGA’s take on the model brings some customization throught he shoe’s Formstrip branding, replacing the usual textile piece with a length of paracord that can be reconfigured into any design you can imagine. This is paired with a lush green suede upper, gum sole, and plenty of Bodega branding.

BODEGA X PUMA SUEDE RELEASE INFORMATION

The next release from renowned retailer Bodega, their first collab after reopening, is scheduled to release next week, on August 9th, 2025. Teaming up with PUMA to riff on the iconic Suede silhouette, pairs will be available through the store’s Releases platform and in person. No pricing information is available yet.

Nike Air Max 95 OG “Blue Spark” Releasing August 2025

Nike’s updated Big Bubble version of their Air Max 95 has opened the doors to a ton of retro releases and new pairs of fan-favorite colors. This week, we got our first look at the 2010s “Blue Spark” pair, releasing in August.

Back in 2020, Nike celebrated twenty-five years of their iconic Air Max 95 running shoe. The silhouette has been a fan favorite since its debut, thanks to its wavy, layered upper that is ripe for unique and detailed color schemes. The model is back in 2025, following in the footsteps of the Air Max 1 by restoring its Air bags to the shoe’s original design, making them bigger to provide more cushioning.

In celebration of this newly revised version, Nike has been reissuing a ton of the model’s iconic colorways in the new style. They started off with the OG “Neon” pair in limited numbers, before moving on to the “Mandarin” orange pair from 2011. This week, another pair from that year has surfaced, in a first look courtesy of Corteiz founder Clint419. The “Blue Spark” style features the shoe’s classic gradient look, starting in white at the top and fading to black at the soles. The lush blue shade takes over the Air bubbles, Swooshes, and lacing loops.
