Kiko Kostadinov Presents the Asics UB11-S GEl-DS Trainer 14

0

Asics has new colorways of their GEL-DS Trainer 14 in the works for the Fall 2025 season. Designed by Kiko Kostadinov’s SportStyle division, the new version is dubbed UB11-S, and will release in two colorways for this new batch.

Asics revived their GEL-DS Trainer 14 this year, the shoe’s first global release since its debut back in 2009. This has become an obvious pattern for the Japanese running brand in recent years. Their older models are perfectly suited for the dad-core modern sneaker stylings, and they have routinely brought back performance running shoes from the early 21st century, repurposed for their SportStyle category. The DS Trainer 14 is simply the latest, and has appeared in multiple collaborations and in-line colors since its return.

One of the first collaborators to deliver their take on the DS Trainer was Kiko Kostadinov. The Bulgarian designer is also the chief creative for the SportStyle division, remixing Asics sneakers with subtle new twists, and always giving them unique new naming systems. The new name for this seasons’ GEL-DS Trainer 14 is UB11-S, a follow up to the batch colors from early this year designated UB9-S. The new set will feature two colorways, a “Coneflower” light pink style with brown accents, and a “Graphite” black style with pale yellow accents.

ASICS UB11-S GEL-DS TRAINER 14 RELEASE INFORMATION

The latest release from Asics’ SportStyle division, led by their creative lead Kiko Kostadinov, is expected to release next week, on August 29th, 2025. Several retailers overseas have the new UB11-S GEL-DS Trainer listed for this date, though the US drop is currently unconfirmed. The brand’s Japanese site has pairs listed for approximately $130, converted from local currency.

Nike Applies Subtle “Blue Tint” Accents to the Air Max 95

Nike’s releases of the Air Max 95 have been nonstop this year, as they celebrate the iconic shoe’s thirtieth anniversary. Reformatted to feature the original big bubble, this week the Swoosh is releasing a subtle “Blue Tint” color scheme.

This year marked another milestone for an essential member of the Air Max family. The Air Max 95 turned thirty years old. Designed by Sergio Lozano and inspired by human anatomy, particularly the spinal column, the running shoe cemented its spot in sneaker history years ago. In honor of its anniversary, Nike gave the model the Big Bubble treatment, the same process the Air Max 1 went through to revive the designers’ original vision for the Air cushioning unit.

Along with rehashing some fan-favorite and forgotten OG colorways, Nike has supplied us with plenty of exceptional new styles this year. This month, another excellent brand new color palette is expected to hit shelves, dressing the shoe in a “Blue Tint” style. The look features the AM95’s classic gradient color blocking, which starts in black for the midsole and gradually fades to lighter and lighter shades of grey with each level, finally becoming pure white for the tongues and inner lining. The lacing system is where the Blue Tint shade comes into play, as well as coloring the insides of the Air bags, Swooshes, and outsoles.

NIKE AIR MAX 95 “BLUE TINT” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s latest colorway to emerge for the Air Max 95’s current retro run has not been announced yet, but is currently expected to release this week, on August 21st, 2025. Featuring a gradient of grey tones fading to black with a “Blue Tint” accent, pairs of the new colorway will be available from both Nike and select retailers, with the usual price tag of $190.

Bodega x Salomon XT-4 “The Glider” Releases This Week

0

Bodega is back after a rocky first half of the year. The legendary sneaker retailer returned over the Summer, and burst out of the gates with some new collaborative projects in tow. This week, they’ll release their Salomon XT-4 “The Glider”.

For those following Bodega’s rocky start to 2025, you may have noticed their absence in the world of sneaker collaborations. The retailer went dark for the first half of the year, citing fulfillment issues as their main reason. Their office staff was let go, the OG Boston location and websites shut down, but still founder Jay Gordon persisted. Now, Bodega has relaunched their online shopping experience, and managed to maintain their retail space in Los Angeles. This month, they reentered the fray of special releases with their PUMA Suede release.

Today, Bodega announced another collaborative release for this month, just on the heels of their PUMA project’s debut over the weekend. They have likely had these projects in the works for some time, and put a hold on both until their internal issues were sorted out. This week’s release marks their first outing with Salomon since 2022’s “Full Bleed” release, and this time, they’ve gone with the XT-4 as a canvas. The pair sports a mix of earthy tones across the upper, mixing a pale purple base with shades of brown for the overlays and tongues. Neon green accents and a blue midsole stripe complete the special look.

BODEGA X SALOMON XT-4 “THE GLIDER” RELEASE INFORMATION

The latest project from retailer Bodega is scheduled to release this weekend, on August 23rd, 2025. Teaming up with Salomon for their second project since resurfacing this Summer, “The Glider” edition of the XT-4 will likely be available exclusively through BDGA’s releases platform, though no raffle information has surfaced yet. Pricing is currently unknown, though we expect this pair to be in the XT-4’s standard $190 range.

The Zellerfeld-Exclusive Nike Air Max 1000 “Black” is Limited to 300 Pairs

Nike is finally jumping into the 3D-printed sneaker game with the Air Max 1000. Initially teased last year, the new model manufactured by Zellerfeld is finally getting a global release soon, with two colorways lined up for late Summer.

Nike is a bit late jumping into the 3D-printed footwear trend. Their main competitor, adidas, has been at it since 2017, but the Swoosh waited until late in 2024 to unveil their first fully-printed silhouette. Perhaps they were waiting for the technology to advance further, or they were simply waiting for the right partner to help manufacture their new shoes, but they’re finally here.

Today the Swoosh shared a slideshow on the SNKRS app showing off their “Oatmeal” colorway, announcing a limited run of the look soon. The last slide gave us the above image of the black & volt look, along with the simple text “Shop the Black color, exclusively at zellerfeld.com globally.” While no dates were given, it is safe to assume both pairs are coming soon. Additionally, with the black pair being a ZF exclusive we can expect a much wider release, as Zellerfeld makes every pair to order, meaning a several week window for printing & quality assurance before they are shipped to your door.

NIKE AIR MAX 1000 “BLACK” RELEASE INFORMATION

After showcasing the Air Max 1000 at ComplexCon last year, the model is finally getting a wide release this Summer. In addition to announcing the “Oatmeal” colorway today, the short SNKRS slideshow quickly added that the black pair would be released exclusively through Zellerfeld, the company that manufactures the 3D printed shoe.

Nike Kobe 3 Protro “Halo” Releases August 2025

Nike’s Kobe releases have been frequent over the last few months, and will likely continue to ramp up throughout the rest of the year. This week, news of the Kobe 3 getting a Protro upgrade has surfaced, coming late in 2025.

When Nike first approached Kobe Bryant about releasing retro editions of his iconic sneakers, the Mamba initially told them no. Kobe wanted his sneakers to still be viable on a basketball court in the modern day, and the Protro series was born. The Protro term is a combination of Performance and Retro, which updates the older models with all of the new tech Nike has available, keeping them wearable on court decades after their debuts.

This week, new leaks have stated that the next Nike Kobe shoe to get a Protro upgrade will be the 3 from 2008. Designed by Eric Avar, the legendary designer behind most of the Kobe line, the 3 features a high-cut collar and a webbed cage encasing both the upper and midsole of the shoe. Expected to arrive during the Fall or Holiday seasons of 2025, initial releases of the model will include an all-white “Halo” edition like we’ve seen for other releases like the recent 8 & 9 Protros.

NIKE KOBE 3 PROTRO “HALO” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike has officially announced the release of their Kobe 3 Protro for August 2025. Among the initial lineup will be the all-white “Halo” model, available from both SNKRS and select retailers with an expected price tag of $240.

Nike’s “Pixel Court” Air Tech Challenge 2 Returns for 2025

0

Last year, Nike celebrated thirty-five years of Andre Agassi’s Air Tech Challenge 2 by rereleasing some OG colorways. Now, a retro of the 2014 “Pixel Court” style has surfaced, coming soon.

In 1989, Nike was at the apex of the footwear world. The running shoe brand has grown tremendously in the last ten years, and now offered sneakers for all major sports, with Michael Jordan leading their basketball offerings, and Andre Agassi dominating on the tennis court in Swoosh-branded shoes. The Air Tech Challenge 2 was his signature shoe that year. a now-iconic model designed by Tinker Hatfield.

Now, over thirty-five years later, the Air Tech Challenge 2 is still a fan favorite of vintage Nike fans. The shoe’s high cut and unique paneling make them suitable for modern style, and their flashy colorways are still sure to turn some heads. This week, news of the 2014 “Pixel Court” colorway has surfaced, offering up another colorful look after a drought in releases. This pair features a white leather build for the upper, adding blue Swooshes and Infrared accents along the colors and toes. The mudguards mix in a pixel print pattern in a high contrast red and blue mix.

The Air Jordan 12 Retro “French Blue” is Now Available

Jordan Brand is set to reintroduce one of its most iconic colorways, the Air Jordan 12 “French Blue,” in Fall 2025. This beloved non-OG edition originally debuted in 2004 and quickly became a fan favorite, thanks to its departure from traditional red, black, and white color schemes typically associated with Michael Jordan. The “French Blue” hue, combined with subtle red accents, helped this iteration stand out both on and off the court.

The Air Jordan 12 “French Blue” features a white leather upper, complemented by the signature blue accents along the mudguard and outsole. Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the sneaker draws inspiration from Japanese rising sun motifs and women’s high heels, combining performance and style. Notably, during Kobe Bryant’s 2003 sneaker free agency, the “French Blue” AJ12 made headlines when Kobe wore the pair on the court, further cementing its legacy.

The sneaker last saw a release in 2016, where it sold out quickly, solidifying its appeal across generations. The upcoming 2025 release will stay true to the original design, retaining the white, blue, and red color palette that made the sneaker an instant classic.

“Brighton Grey” Covers New Balance’s Next 2010 Release

0

New Balance has debuted a new silhouette this season, the 2010. The new model is a completely original shoe, though it leans heavily into the brand’s signature style. This week, three pairs for Summer 2025 have surfaced, coming soon.

The upcoming 2010 model from New Balance is an interesting new addition to their lifestyle lineup. While similar new releases have focused on slim ’70s running styles, like the 471, the 2010 appears to have more in common with the 99x family. The shoe’s layering and shape for the upper are similar to various models from the 99x family tree, but the midsole appears to be a brand new design, with prominent cushioning pods in the heels.

The past few weeks have seen the model’s debut in a small assortment of releases. The “Grey Days” and “Vintage Khaki” pairs have already trickled out into retailers, and Kith released their take on the model for its collaborative debut, and Rich Paul has his own pairs on the way later this year. This week, we have an early look at three new styles coming soon to flesh out the brand’s Summer lineup. First up, one pair comes in a simple and classic triple black palette. Next, we have a grey, black, and cream white combo that adds just a touch of brown under the heels. Finally, a white and soft pink pair with an aged yellow midsole rounds out the new colors.

New Balance’s Made in UK Allerdale Arrives in “Grey Stone” for Fall

0

New Balance introduced their Allerdale model early this Summer, a brand new silhouette dedicated to walking. They have slowly issued new colors over the last few months, with more pairs, like this “Grey Stone” edition, still on the horizon.

New Balance has always been a brand dedicated to walking and taking care of your feet. When the company was founded in 1906, the sole product was a set of cushioned sole inserts that provided extra cushioning and gave you a ‘new balance’. The drive to provide comfort and cushioning is still at the core of every product they release, especially with their new Allerdale model, a silhouette debuted in 2025 with the express purpose of being a walking shoe.

The Allerdale is a somewhat unusual sneaker from a styling standpoint. The silhouette looks like the kind of shoe you could try to pair with a suit or for formal occasions. However, it also has a ton of design choices that seem to be ripped directly from hiking boots. The plastic eyelets for the lacing, the rugged outsole tread, and simple molded sole construction all seem built for the trails. Given its stance as a simple walking shoe though, this makes some sense. The latest colorway for the Allerdale dressed the premium leather upper in a flat Grey Stone shade, with NB logos and laces to match.

NEW BALANCE ALLERDALE “GREY STONE” RELEASE INFORMATION

New Balance’s next release of the new Allerdale silhouette does not have a set date yet, but is currently expected to launch sometime in Fall 2025. The new edition comes in a simple Grey Stone color scheme, paired with a light gum sole unit. The premium walking shoe from their Made in UK program will likely be available from both NB and select retailers, with a price tag set at $250.

adidas Presents the Next Generation of Equipment with the EQT Guidance 91/25

Every few years for the last decade, adidas introduces a new member of the Equipment family. This season, they are adding another new model to the range, though this new EQT Guidance 91/25 shoots for the stars, and will come with a shocking price tag of $500.

adidas Equipment was formally introduced in 1991. Built on the foundation of the ZX franchise from the ’80s, the new line was created by Robert Strasser and Peter Moore, the latter of which famously designed the Air Jordan 1 amongst other icons. The purpose of EQT was boiled down to one line; “Everything that is essential, nothing that is not.” Thus, a new era of adidas running was born. The first wave arrived with a handful of silhouettes, though the EQT Guidance stood head and shoulders above the rest in the opinions of its fans.

This year, adidas is introducing a new era of EQT, after reviving the franchise in the mid-2010s with a string of brand new styles. Dubbed the EQT Guidance 91/25, the name borrows from the naming convention they created in 2017 for the new Boost-equipped era of EQT. Little is known about the technology inside the new model right now, except for the fact that it uses a “Cold Cement” method of construction. Otherwise, the shoe is constructed from clear, synthetic panels, which show off the internal swathe of that sweet, sweet signature EQT Green color. The overlays come in a grid pattern, a standard for the product line, and the interior lining utilizes a soft textile for a more comfortable fit.

ADIDAS EQT GUIDANCE 91/25 RELEASE INFORMATION

adidas’ new generation silhouette from the Equipment line is already popping up on the brand’s release calendars in Asia and Europe, though no US drop has been announced yet. Updating the OG Guidance silhouette for a new age, the EQT Guidance 91/25 will hopefully be available gloally soon, though the release will likely be limited to ann adidas-only drop. Packed with tons of modern running tech, the silhouette is expected to come with a jaw-dropping price tag of $500.

BAPE & adidas Connect for a Collection Celebrating the FIFA World Cup

0
BAPE adidas World Cup Collection

BAPE is perhaps one of adidas’ longest running collaborators, and one of their most consistent. The Japanese brand will join forces with the Three Stripes next year to celebrate the FIFA World Cup, releasing a three-shoe collection for the occasion.

BAPE is one of the most prolific collaborative brands in the world. After its founder, Nigo, stepped away from the streetwear label, the brand took its cult popularity to new heights, unleashing a barrage of special projects and collaborations. However, they maintained their strong partnership with adidas, with whom they release some of the most coveted sneakers of the early 2000s. This week, news of an upcoming special project crossed our timelines, slated for a 2026 release.

The next project from BAPE and adidas will reportedly celebrate the FIFA World Cup, the every-four-years soccer tournament drawing the world’s attention each Summer. While details regarding the project’s actual relation to the World Cup are sparse, we have an early look at three shoes for the collection. First up, the Adistar HRMY is the boldest shoe in the collection, applying BAPE’s signature camouflage to the upper, and adding their shark teeth detailing to the split outsole. Our favorite pair seen here is the Samba, which features a clean white build with dark green accents, and a shooting star logo replacing the medial side stripes. Finally, the Campus ’00s rounds out the project, dressed in black leather with white accents, and also sporting a shooting star on the medial sidewalls.

BAPE X ADIDAS WORLD CUP COLLECTION RELEASE INFORMATION

The next release from Japan’s BAPE and adidas is reportedly arriving early next year, currently penciled in for a February 1st, 2026 release. This is well before the tournaments official start date, so the date is likely to change over the next six months. Featuring the Adistar HRMY, Samba, and Campus, pairs will likely be available through both partners as well as select retailers, with prices ranging from $160 to $200.

The Air Jordan 4 Gets Another Denim Build in “Iced Carmine” for Summer 2026

Air Jordan 4 Denim Iced Carmine HV0823-607 mockup

The 2026 lineup from Jordan Brand continues to expand, as leakers give us more and more sneakers to look forward to next year. This week, the Air Jordan 4 has a new style in the works, dressing the shoe in a soft pink “Iced Carmine” shade of denim, arriving next Summer.

Jordan retro release dominate our release calendars every year. Information regarding new releases tends to surface over a year in advance, giving us plenty of time to speculate about whats hot, what will flop, and what the shoes will even look like. Thankfully, Nike’s early info has become gradually easier to interpret, allowing leakers to create color scheme mockups based on the internal color codes. Cross referencing other shoes for blocking and specific tones, we can usually have a rough expectation of what to expect far in advance of the actual release.

The latest leak from Jordan Brand’s 2026 lineup brings us another early mockup of an Air Jordan 4 release for next Summer. The look will apply a denim upper to the silhouette once again, following in the footsteps of the recent “Washed Denim” style. However, this release will back away from traditional denim colors, instead opting for an “Iced Carmine” shade of light pink. This color will make up the bulk of the shoe’s upper, while the plastic pieces and midsoles come in a sail white shade, with black accents to round out the look.

AIR JORDAN 4 “ICED CARMINE” RELEASE INFORMATION

The next denim edition of the Air Jordan 4 is expected to arrive in Summer 2026, though there is no hard date set yet. Constructed from the durable textile, the silhouette comes in an “Iced Carmine” pink shade, paired with sail and black accents. Pairs will likely be available through both Nike and select retailers, and will likely carry the usual $220 price tag.
