It’s been a bit since we last saw an OVO sneaker release but today we just got a better look at a sample OVO x Air Jordan 11 in Metallic Gold.
If you’re a big sneakerhead and maybe a little older than the rest, this might not be the first Metallic Gold Air Jordan 11 you’ve seen before. Farther back in your memory, you may be able to remember Usher rocking a pair in 2014 in a iHeart Radio Festival performance in Las Vegas. Now that both have not releases and are expected to never drop for the public, it’s clear that there is an affinity between Jordan and a Metallic Gold 11, so maybe just maybe we will get a release soon.
The edition is an eye catcher as its entire upper is composed of shiny Metallic Gold patent leather and Gold tumbled leather around the heel. While a gold tongue and laced aide into the design, a white Jumpman Logo on the ankles as well as a white sockliner add an angelic experience to the shoe. A white midsole and a translucent outsole then finishes off the sample design.
These may never drop but then again anything is possible. Upon better images of the sample, the internet has been buzzing so maybe Jordan Brand will be convinced. Whatever the case may be, keep it locked to JustFreshKicks for any updates on a potential future release.
