Nike’s upcoming releases of the Zoom Vomero 5 are adding more and more colorways to their upcoming return. The latest pair to emerge mixes brown shades for a new ‘Wheat Grass’ color scheme.
Nike’s older running models have seen a grand return in recent years, making their way out of the archives and onto store shelves. Back in 2018, the brand released a collaborative Zoom Vomero 5 with A-Cold-Wall*, which led to a string of in-line releases before the shoe seemingly disappeared after 2020. Now, the runner is back, adding new colorways in the upcoming seasons. This week, in addition to emerging as a part of the Doernbecher collection, a new ‘Wheat Grass’ colorway surfaced, covering the shoe in shades of brown. The base comes in a light shade of wheat, with darker caramel mid layers separating the base and outermost dark brown portions. Bold orange Swooshes adorn either side, while reflective 3M elements complete the new look.

Nike’s upcoming colorways of the Zoom Vomero 5 are expected to start releasing in 2022, though we could see them drop sometime next year. Seen here in a smooth ‘Wheat Grass’ colorway, pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers for $160.
