Nike is gearing up to introduce the ‘Timeless’ collection, which applies the signature look of one shoe to another. Today, the Zoom Vomero 5 surfaced with added overlays to mimic the Dunk Low, coming soon.
Nike has often paid homage to some of their classic sneakers by applying signature colors and patterns to other models, creating a similar look with a new shape. The last time we saw this practice, they had swapped the Air Max 1 and Huarache’s original color schemes in 2020, and now, the ‘Timeless’ collection prepares a similar switch. We first saw the Dunk Low this week with patterns and colors inspired by the Zoom Vomero 5 runner, now the ZV5 has surfaced with pieces of the Dunk applied, and dressed in a Panda color scheme. Using a white and grey Vomero for the base, black leather overlays taken directly from the Dunk are loosely stitched on top to create a similar look.

Nike’s upcoming release of the ‘Timeless’ Zoom Vomero 5 has not been announced for release, though they are expected to drop sometime in Spring 2023. With added overlays mimicking those of the Dunk low, pairs will likely be available from the SNKRS app and select retailers for $160.
