Nike is following through on their announcement that the Zoom Vomero 5 will continue to ramp up production. This week, we have our first look at a new ‘Sequoia’ color scheme, coming this Fall.
The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 first released back in 2011, as a part of the brand’s running line. While the Vomero franchise has continued to release new styles to this day, the Swoosh revived the fifth iteration in 2018 for a short-lived run as a lifestyle model. Then, last year, the model returned, this time bringing a tidal wave of new colorways as appreciation for the older model as a casual shoe grew. Early this year, Nike stated during an earnings call that they would continue to ramp up volume of the retro runner, bringing plenty of new colorways to shelves for the foreseeable future. This week, a new ‘Sequoia’ edition emerged, showing off another tonal color scheme of the Vomero. The entirety of the upper is dressed in olive green tones, with some 3M accents added to the overlays.
