The Zoom Vomero 5 first appeared in retro form several years ago, before returning late last year for another run. This week, we have our first look at a simple ‘Sail’ style, coming this Fall.
The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 first released back in 2011, as a part of the brand’s running line. While the Vomero franchise has continued to release new styles to this day, the Swoosh revived the fifth iteration in 2018 for a short-lived run as a lifestyle model. Then, last year, the model returned, this time bringing a tidal wave of new colorways as appreciation for the older model as a casual shoe grew. This week, we got an early look at a new ‘Sail’ style of the silhouette, which applies the brand’s signature off-white shade to the mesh and and outer layers of the Zoom Vomero 5. Hints of light orewood brown appear on the midfoot cage and outlining the Swooshes, while pale green branding on the heels completes the look.

Nike’s latest pair of the Zoom Vomero 5 has yet to be announced for release, though we expect to see them land on shelves sometime in Fall 2023. Cast in a ‘Sail’ white with a hint of orewood brown, pairs will be available through the Swoosh as well as select retailers, with the usual price tag of $160.
