Nike stated last year that the Zoom Vomero 5 would continue to be an essential piece of their catalog moving forward, and so far they’ve followed through with plenty of new colors. This week, a new look in “Platinum Violet” has surfaced, coming soon.
Nike’s recent run with the Zoom Vomero 5 has been an interesting one. The model originally released in 2011 as a performance running shoe, before disappearing and then returning briefly in 2018. Two years ago, they kicked off a long string of releases styles that continues to this day, bringing the model into their inner circle of staples.
This week, we’ve had an early look at some of Nike’s new styles for the Vomero 5 coming throughout the next few seasons. The “Platinum Violet” pair seen here is one of our standouts, dressing the shoe in light and dark shades of purple throughout its many layers, with just a hint of yellow outlining the Swooshes to complete the look.

Nike’s next series of new colorways for their Zoom Vomero 5 do not have an official release date yet, but are expected to come in waves throughout the rest of 2024. Seen here in the “Platinum Violet” look, this style will be available from the Swoosh and select retailers for $160.
