Nike stated last year that the Zoom Vomero 5 would continue to be an essential piece of their catalog moving forward, and so far they’ve followed through with plenty of new colors. This week, a bold new look in “Monarch” orange has surfaced, coming soon.
The Zoom Vomero 5 from Nike has had an interesting few years since 2018. In that year, the model was reintroduced to the brand’s lineup, but only dropped in a small handful of colorways. Then, in 2022, the silhouette was reissued again, and has released in dozens of new colors in the two years since. Nike even announced during a recent earnings call that the model would ramp up in production moving forward, offering more new styles in greater quantities. They even went so far as to start producing the retro runner in children’s sizing, which are beginning to hit shelves this Summer.
Today, a fresh color scheme of the Vomero has surfaced as a part of the brand’s Fall 2024 release slate. The look takes a near-tonal approach to its color palette, covering the shoe in a dark “Monarch” shade of orange. This is paired with other shades of orange throughout the upper, and broken up by white Swooshes, midsoles, and inner linings.

Nike’s latest style of the Zoom Vomero 5 runner has not been given an official release date yet, but is expected to arrive sometime later in 2024. Dressed in a bold “Monarch” orange shade, the near-tonal pair will be available from both Nike and select retailers for the usual $160.
