Nike’s Zoom Streak Spectrum Plus returned this year in a collaboration with skate brand Supreme. Now, the Swoosh is preparing the niche silhouette for a full-on retro reboot, which begins with two release this month.

The Nike Zoom Streak Spectrum sneaker first made its way onto the internet in January of this year, in the form of the limited new “Supreme” collaboration. Since then, we have already seen the release of two colorways Nike and Supreme which introduced the retro runner to the modern day. Now, Nike is going big with the fiery silhouette. The Zoom Streak Spectrum Plus originally launched as an in-line running shoe from the Swoosh back in the early 2000’s. While there is no well-established history to draw off of, the wild looks were enough to help gather an avid fanbase of collector who would remember the shoe for years to come. This is largely due to the Zoom Streak’s fire graphic that takes over the toe box and side paneling. The look is still present on today’s new iterations, despite a heavy mix of other colors and graphics over the original print. Despite the absence of an announcement by Nike, we have a great look at the shoe as well as preliminary release information thanks to our friends Py_Rates.
