Nike has been gearing up for Fall and Winter the past few months, dropping improved weather-resistant variations of their footwear to help prepare. This week, the Nike Running team launched the next evolution of the Pegasus, with a new high-top shroud.

The Nike Pegasus has been on fire this year, from the groundbreaking second iteration of the advanced Zoom Turbo version to other fan favorites like the trail-ready Pegasus 36. Now, as we dive deeper into Fall, the team behind the Swoosh’s running division has something ready for rougher weather. Introduced this week, the Pegasus Turbo Shield is a new adaptation on one of the brand’s most popular recent running shoes. The new construction adds a high-cut bootie around the upper, which is secured by asymetrical zippers and sealed by velcro around the collar. The initial releases comes in black with purple and volt accents, with more offerings expected soon.
