Nike’s new Zoom Pegasus 35 has made quite the splash in the running scene this year. With its hybrid Zoom and React midsole, the futuristic silhouette is finally arriving in hot new colorways next month.

The Nike Pegasus family has been helping support the brand for decades. Now onto its 35th iteration, the innovative Swoosh Running team has gone all out with the latest pair, stuffing it with as many modern technologies as possible. The star attraction of the new Pegasus 35 is the midsole, a dual-density marvel featuring React and ZoomX, the two most exciting Nike cushioning foams to date. This month, Nike has teased a new themed look for the Pegasus 35, which covers the silhouette in a variety of child-like references to running. The new look begins with a grey and black mixed Flyknit upper, lined by white detailing and a black Swoosh made to look hand drawn on either side. The custom laces feature the words “I love 2 run / I hate 2 run” repeated across them, along with the phrase “Last one gets a rotten egg” printed on the lateral side of each midsole. Finally, the children’s-themed Nike Pegasus Zoom 35 is finished off with “Run to a magical place” along with a unicorn horn printed on both tongues and insole.

The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 35 is scheduled to arrive in stores next week on Valentine’s Day, February 14th. The new “Child’s Play” themed colorway will retail for the standard $180 price tag alongside the several other new looks.
