After our first look at the upcoming Nike Crater collection last week, the Swoosh wanted to make sure we didn’t leave anything out. This week, we have a look at a previously unseen Crater Air Force 1, exclusively releasing in women’s sizes.

Nike’s push for sustainability in their products and supply chain has brought about some massive changes so far in 2020. While the brand has always strived to make use of leftover materials, recycling parts took on new meaning for the Swoosh this year. Nike’s Space Hippie collection debuted last month, kicking off their new push for more sustainable products with a range of four sneakers made entirely out of waste materials from their factories. The collection introduced some interesting new technologies, like Crater Foam, an amalgamation of Nike’s cushioning foams ground down and encapsulated by Grind rubber. Now, we are seeing Nike Crater Foam and several other recycled materials popping up around the Swoosh’s arsenal of sneakers, like this women’s Air Force 1 that surfaced online earlier this week. Adding to the already growing Crater collection, the latest addition adds a full-length Crater Foam midsole to the Air Force 1, as well as a recycled rubber toebox and Flyleather upper.
