Nike’s Space Hippie franchise made its debut over the Summer and has slowly continued to release with one-off colorways of various models. This week, we have our first look at the new “Healing Jade” look for the Space Hippie 03, coming soon.
The Nike Space Hippie program was first teased at the brand’s Olympic preview early in 2020, showing off all the new innovations and styles they had cooked up for the year. While a launch coinciding with the Olympics did not happen, the Space Hippie collection launched, either way, entering the Swoosh into a new stage of sustainability and recycling in their production methods. Constructed entirely from scrap and recycled materials, the Space Hippie shoes combine some of Nike’s most innovative technologies, like ZoomX cushioning and Crater Foam midsoles. This week, we have an early look at a new “Healing Jade” colorway for the Space Hippie 03 rumored to release soon. The look begins with a soft grey tone for the 03’s knit upper, with flecks of volt green strewn throughout. The webbing loops and TPU lacing system come in a baby blue tone, while jade green midsoles complete the new look.

Nike’s latest colorway of the recycled Space Hippie 03 has not yet officially been announced for release, though they are scheduled to drop on January 1st, 2021 in Korea. The Space Hippie 03 will be available from both Nike and select retailers, with the usual price tag of $180 when they finally land stateside. UPDATE 4/9/21: Nike’s “Healing Jade” colorway of the Space Hippie 03 model premiered overseas in Korea at the top of the year, and is only now making its way stateside for a global release. Unveiled this week, the next colorway of the Space Hippie 03 will launch on APril 23rd, 2021, retaining the original $180 price tag.
