Nike’s Space Hippie collection turns one year old this month, and the Swoosh has a handful of new color schemes getting ready for release. Today, we have an early look at the Space Hippie 01, sporting a new “Vast Grey” color scheme.
Nike’s Space Hippie 01 is emerging as the premier silhouette from the brand’s collection of sneakers made entirely from recycled materials. Launched last Summer, the Space Hippie project transforms Nike’s factory waste into entirely new textiles, and then, footwear. Available in four different numbered models, the primary pair of this branch of the Move to Zero series is clearly the 01 Space Hippie, likely due to its standardized shape and lacing system. This week, the Space Hippie 01 has surfaced in a new “Vast Grey” colorway set to release in the coming weeks, casting the shoe’s Flyknit upper in a mix of grey and sand-colored tones, while volt green Swooshes and red stitching add plenty of color to this release.

Nike’s latest colorway of the Space Hippie 01 has been announced for release next week, on September 14th, 2021. The light “Vast Grey” look will likely be available from both Nike and select retailers, retaining the usual price tag of $130.
