Nike’s Space Hippie collection turns one year old this month, and the Swoosh has a handful of new color schemes getting ready for release. Today, we have an early look at the Space Hippie 01, sporting a new “Carbon Green” color scheme.

Nike’s Space Hippie 01 is emerging as the premier silhouette from the brand’s collection of sneakers made entirely from recycled materials. Launched last Summer, the Space Hippie project transforms Nike’s factory waste into entirely new textiles, and then, footwear. Available in four different numbered models, the primary pair of this branch of the Move to Zero series is clearly the 01 Space Hippie, likely due to its standardized shape and lacing system. This week, the Space Hippie 01 has surfaced in a new color scheme likely to release this Summer, decking out the 01 in various shades of green. The look begins with a deep forest green for the knit body of the upper, with a striking white Swoosh on either side. The laces come in speckled green and white, held in place by neon green lace loops, matched by the tongue and heel finger loops. Finally, the Crater Foam/ZoomX midsole comes in a pale green shade to complete the look.

Nike’s latest colorway of the Space Hippie 01 has been announced for release next week on September 14th, 2021. The summery “Carbon Green” look will likely be available from both Nike and select retailers, retaining the usual price tag of $130.
