Nike SB is set to release a brand new model this year, adding to their excellent in-line options with the Vertebrae. Coming in Spring, this model takes inspiration from some retro Nike models, but modified for skating.

Nike SB has an excellent lineup of their own signature models. While the Dunk still reigns as the pinnacle for most skaters, their varied offerings of modified Swoosh Classics to pro rider models has something for everyone. Several weeks ago, we got an early look at Ishod Wair‘s next signature shoe, and now, the SB Vertebrae has emerged, coming soon. The new model is an ultra slim skate shoe, boasting just the essentials needed from a sneaker. The defining feature is its skeletal-looking side walls, which are borrowed from the 2002 Nike Air Max Moto. Suede panels make up the toes and heels, while a cupsole underfoot supports maximum boardfeel. So far, the Vertebrae has appeared in two colorways, one pairing shades of white with black, purple, and neon green, and the second adding a splash of red to a basic white look.
