Nike SB has new releases of their Dunk Low styles slated to release all year long. In addition to their standard-issue pairs and collaborations expected to arrive in 2024, a new pair of the Dunk Low Pro has surfaced for a release during the holiday season. The pair features a bright “Monarch” orange underlay with some neutral panels on top.
The SB division from Nike has been releasing their own version of the Dunk since 2002. The modified basketball shoe was originally adapted after skaters gave the Swoosh feedback on their low-top basketball model, and added some extra comfort and cushioning features to improve the silhouette’s boardfeel and responsiveness. The model also comes with a Pro variation, which does not come with a full cupsole for even more advanced contact and control with the board.
The Pro’s all-suede upper comes in a smooth color palette, with begins with a dark “Monarch” orange for the base layer. The shoe’s signature overlays come in a dark shade of carbon grey, while Sesame tan Swooshes and Nike branding, as well as the midsole’s stitching. For a final hint of color, the white midsole is paired with an olive green outsole to round out the color scheme.
