Grant Taylor and Nike SB have another footwear project in the works this month, just weeks after the ACG-inspired Blazer dropped a few weeks ago. This time around, Blazer Low GT gets a Kill Bill-style makeover in black and gold tones.

The Nike SB skate team has been lending their ideas to the brand’s design team frequently this year, bringing us a number of new colorways dreamt up by our favorite skaters. This week, another release from Grant Taylor has surfaced, following up on his ACG-inspired Blazer High from last month. The next project features the Blazer Low GT, constructed from suede and leather in a high contrast color scheme. The upper is decked out entirely in bold University Gold suede, broken up sparingly by jet black leather for the laces, mesh tongue, Swoosh, and midsole. Nike SB Zoom insoles add some extra cushioning to the interior, while Grant Taylor branded tongue labels complete the look.

NIKE SB BLAZER LOW GT “UNIVERSITY GOLD” RELEASE INFORMATION

Grant Taylor’s next project with Nike SB, the “University Gold” Blazer Low GT, has not yet been announced for release, though they have started to arrive at overseas retailers this week. The low-top Bruin will be available from both Nike and select SB accounts, with a price tag of just $75. UPDATE 11/7/20: The “Gold” SB Blazer Low GT has been revealed as another piece of the upcoming “Inverse” pack, similar to the ‘Celtics Inverse’ dunk from earlier this season. When you take a picture of the shoe and invert the colors, the result is a royal blue upper with white detailing, the true opposite of the actual gold & black color scheme.
