Nike’s React technology has already made quite the name for itself in the running world. Next month, the Swoosh plans to return to the Rise silhouette, pairing React foam with a laceless Flyknit upper.
Nike’s Epic React Flyknit has grown to be a popular option among the many new running silhouettes the Swoosh has released this year. While many had complaints regarding the original run of the silhouette and its traction issues, Nike has amended the problems and has gone on to create a wide arsenal of beautiful colorways. Since then, Nike has expanded upon the Epic React series, introducing a second iteration as well as a high-top, laceless version of the runner. Titled the Rise React, the new version removes any sort of lacing system entirely, instead opting for targeted support in the Flyknit upper. Additionally, the heel cup that covers the back end of the shoe now sits on top of a thin leather layer which extends up the ankle of the shoe to form a pull tab. The React Rise is set to return this week in a new “Lime Blast” color scheme, which dyes the entire upper in a vibrant green tone, accented by black heel counters and a white React midsole.

The Nike React Rise Flyknit is scheduled to return in “Lime Blast” on March 1st, 2019. The high-top React silhouette will retail for a hefty $175 price tag, one of the highest on the market for Nike’s latest foam technology.
