Nike’s ISPA division is back with another new silhouette for their arsenal. Inspired by improvising for any situation, the new WR Low runner is built with weather resistance in mind. Check out the new silhouette, dropping in three colorways next week.
Standing for Improvise, Scavenge, Protect, and Adapt, Nike’s ISPA division was created with a very specific purpose; combining footwear with a computational design. This means that instead of working through every inch of the design themselves, the ISPA team is feeding information about the shoe and the sole into a computer, and allowing it to solve problems of strength, support, and flexibility on its own. This week, the Swoosh has unveiled the third entry in their ISPA series, set to release later this month. The new silhouette is a low-cut version of the first release, the React Runner Mid. Now known as the React WR Low ISPA, the refined look is inspired by extreme emergencies like the Apollo 13 mission. The low top upper is made to keep out weather through the use of resistant materials and efficient production methods like fused bonding, which drops the use of glue and standard stitching in place more environmentally friendly options. The new Nike React WR Low ISPA will release in white, black, and Velvet Brown next week.

Nike’s latest React sneaker has now been announced for release on February 23rd, 2018. The React WR Runner Low ISPA will retail for a cool $160, a reasonable price given the new technology and innovation inside.
