As Nike continues to treat fans to their React technology, the latest models dons a darker tone than its OG predecessor. Part of their THE10TH collection, the Nike React Sertu finds balance between performance and aesthetic.
Although Nike has placed most of its emphasis in models like the React 55 and React 87, the latest addition offers a new take. Both the 55 and 87 models made the React sole an instant hit amongst fans. Now, the Swoosh brand look to expand their repertoire with a different upper. Gathering influence from past Nike silhouettes with woven uppers, the React Sertu clearly embodies the Nike DNA with new technology.
While the React sole remains intact across multiple models, the Sertu dons an upper quite different from its counterparts. Composed of several panels throughout its upper, the most prevalent feature is the woven material below the laces. A dark blue color scheme makes up much of the shoe with the woven pattern dressed in a multicolor way. Like recent Nike models, the React Sertu offers asymmetrical patterns that give the design a more complex look. Heel counters are also present for added support as it sits atop a Black and Sail React sole for extra response. A new model with classic characteristics.
