Nike’s React Element series is still going strong nearly a year after its initial release. Since then, the Swoosh has introduced dozens of new colorways, including this eye-catching “Red Orbit” look, launching overseas tomorrow.

Nike’s React cushioning is continuing to find its way into new and old silhouettes, while still maintaining appearances for their most popular. This week, the React Element 87 was previewed in a bold new color scheme just a matter of days before the next few pairs are scheduled to hit shelves. Titled “Red Orbit”, the new Nike Element 87 color scheme mixes several contrasting red & blue tones with subtle purple hits to bridge the gap. The look begins with a dark but translucent grey tone for the thin upper, lined by lighter grey underlays near the toes and midfoot. Red stitching is present through the center of this Element 87 along with the heels, while a massive red Swoosh takes over the center of the shoe. Blue suede overlays appear over the lacing system combined with small hits of purple to even things out, while a crisp blue heel clip provides rearfoot stability. Finally, the React midsole EVA plugs come in red and grey to match.
