Nike’s React technology isn’t even a year old and already it’s made a respectable name for itself. With a handful of models readily available, the Swoosh continues to build on the most popular. Check out the latest Element 55, coming soon.
Nike’s React Element series has barely made its debut and is still making waves in the global sneaker scene. Originally debuted last year in an Undercover fashion show, the Element 87 was a wild departure from our expectations for Nike React. The new silhouette gave a clean and unusually sporty look to a lifestyle shoe, as well as wild new technologies like React foam and a translucent upper. While the model is still in its initial rollout, a new takedown model of the silhouette has appeared online and is ready to drop later this year. Titled the React Element 55, a handful of exciting colorways have already been released, and today, we have a look at one of the most interesting yet. The next new look for the Element 55 begins with a neutral grey base for the upper. Darker hints of grey help build up the look around the lacing system and supportive heel clip, while white laces help keep the color scheme grounded. The look takes a bold step with the tongue, covering it in a vibrant red tone, which is matched by taping on either side of the heel that features a stream of Nike logos. Finally, the new look is finished off by a large blue Swoosh on the lateral side of the shoe.
