Nike React has seemingly taken over the Lifestyle portion of their catalog. Every month now there are new colorways and silhouettes sporting the initial Element series midsole, like the two new quilted pairs of the React Element 55, coming soon.

Nike React has evolved greatly since it first debuted on basketball shoes back in 2017. Now, the technology is most commonly associated with the brand’s lifestyle category, thanks to the popularity of the Element line and the myriad of silhouettes that its midsole has inspired. This week, however, Nike is returning to the model that go the ball rolling, making a few minor changes to an already-beloved silhouette. Instead of the Element 55’s usual nylon upper, two new colorways have been seen sporting a quilted grid pattern. While its unclear so far what material it seems to be constructed from, the general consensus is a plush, puffer like material. The new look has not yet been announced for release, though will make its debut in matching black and silver color schemes.

Nike’s latest reconstruction of the sleek React Element 55 has not yet been announced for release, though they are expected to hit retail shelves sometime in the coming weeks. Both the black and silver colorways will be available from Nike and select retailers for $130.
