The Nike Pegasus is back. Now releasing on a yearly schedule, one of the Swoosh’s longest-running silhouettes returns this week, doubling down on the trail-ready form that debuted last year. Check out the Nike Pegasus Trail 2, coming soon.
Nike’s Pegasus running line has been going strong for almost 40 yearly innovations now, each one numbered sequentially. However, last year, the Swoosh switched things up with the introduction of the Pegasus Trail, a newer, more durable version of the famous running shoe built for – you guessed it- trail running. Now, the Pegasus Trail 2 is here, building upon last year’s innovation with come cool new tricks. First up, the second-gen Peg Trail is constructed from a mix of breathable mesh and durable ripstop for premium comfort, while a React foam midsole outfits the underside of the shoe, and includes some hidden Air Zoom bags for added comfort. The Nike Pegasus Trail 2 will make its debut in two colorways, one mixing shades of green, blue, and brown, while the other opts for a simple blacked-out look.

Nike’s next-generation Pegasus Trail running shoe has been scheduled to make its debut sometime in June 2020, though no specific date has been announced yet. Arriving in two colorways initially, both pairs will be available from Nike and select retailers for a cool $130, with even more colors likely to drop throughout the Summer.
