Nike Max 90 Vapor “Ohio State” Design
Nike keeps the Air Max 90 mudguard and much of the original upper intact. Shaggy red suede covers the toebox and upper panels, and black leather forms the sharp angled side panels.
The silver Swoosh has sharp teeth, and claw marks run across the upper. “Defend the Shoe” appears in Old English lettering, echoing the “Fight to the End” graphic on the insoles. Metallic silver patches also mark the Nike Air branding.
Is There a Matching Lifestyle Air Max 90 for Ohio State?
Yes. A lifestyle Air Max 90 “Ohio State” carries “Defend the Shoe” patches on the tongue and team emblems on the heel and insoles. Ohio retailer Sole Classics listed it for $140 on November 3.
