The Tom Sachs x Nike Mars Yard is one of the most sought-after sneakers form the last five years. After the return of the shoe last year, new leaks show that the duo is not done with their ultra-famous signature silhouette quite yet.
The Nike Mars Yard first made its debut in 2012, in collaboration with artist Tom Sachs. Since then, the sneaker has rocketed into the archives of the greatest shoes of all time. With both the original and second versions going for thousands a piece on the aftermarket, Tom Sachs and Nike are getting creative with keeping the line going. Earlier this year, our friends Py_Rates shared news of the Mars Yard Mid releasing this year, and now they’re back with a new leak. This time, we now know that 2017’s Mars Yard 2.0 is coming back this Fall- but only in GS sizes.
Regardless of whether or not this intentional, Nike Sachs made a great decision with this release. The first two Mars Yard releases are just slightly different, and both sneaker grails. Releasing the coveted shoe in not only small sizes but a new shape and colorway allows them to keep using the beloved look while maintaining the status of the legendary first pairs.

The Tom Sachs x Nike Mars Yard will release in kids sizes in October 2018. The minuscule pair of Mars runners will retail for $80, and launch from both Nike SNKRS and select retailers.
