The latest sneaker in the Nike and Kobe lineage, the Mamba Fury has just surfaced in a special Lakers Home colorway that capitalizes on the iconic Lakers Purple and Gold.
While the Nike Kobe 5 Protro’s that were originally supposed to release before Kobe’s tragic passing are still up in the air, the Mamba Fury hasn’t slowed down at all and has kept fans still connected to the Kobe line while Nike sorts things out and gets signature releases right. Marked as the first Kobe sneaker to release since his passing, the Mamba Fury released back in May in the coveted Bruce Lee theme. Other colorways included a clean black and white offering but now things get a little more special with the budget-friendly sneaker taking on a Lakers Home colorway, dedicated to the LA Lakers, where Kobe spent his entire 20-year NBA career with.
Dressed in White, Field Purple, Amarillo, and Light Smoke Grey, the low profile upper sports a white scaley and soft mesh upper where Light Smoke Grey paints the Nike Swoosh, dot-design, and laces for a nice contrasted look. Lakers purple then paints the sneaker on the heel and midsole while gold detailing is given to the lacing system to complete the Lakers Home attire of white, purple, and gold. A very special colorway for sneakerheads and Kobe fans all around the world.
