Nike is on a roll with their Mac Attack releases this season, adding new colors for the shoe’s first-ever retro run. This week, we have an early look at a “Wimbledon” color scheme, coming in May.

Nike’s Mac Attack is a blast from the past. Worn by John McEnroe in the ’80s, the iconic tennis sneaker never saw a retro release until 2023, remaining dormant in the brand’s archives for several decades. The shoe has released in a number of in-line styles so far, with a special-edition Travis Scott release bolstering the shoe’s hype. This week, a new style for Summer 2024 has surfaced, celebrating the annual Wimbledon tennis tournament in London. The shoe borrows the colors of the official tournament logo, adding green accents to the soles, heels, and collars, with a vivid purple Swoosh to complete the look.

Nike’s latest colorway of the 1984 Mac Attack is expected to release in May 2024 ahead of the Wimbledon tournament, though no date has been set yet. Dressed in a clean white makeup with vivid purple and green accents, pairs will be available from the SNKRS app and select retailers for $130.
