Nike Basketball introduces the latest addition to their LeBron 17 line; Dubbed as the ‘Currency’ model, the silhouette presents a dark and subtle approach.

While the LeBron 17 is relatively young, the model has received many iterations since its introduction. This time around, Nike opts for a much sleeker and darker tone than some of its predecessors. Curated for LeBron’s style of play on court, the model features lightweight materials for fast movement and support. One of the most notable additions to the model is the KnitPosite material; made of Flyknit construction and pre-twisted, heat-molded yarns, its uppers are never alike.

In addition to the new KnitPosite material, the model features visible Zoom Air units for the most responsive feel yet. Composed of an overarching Black upper, midsole, and Air units, the LeBron 17 is subtle yet intricate in design. One characteristic that stands out is the iridescent purple sole that slightly changes color based on where its seen. An Aqua Swoosh also sits on the lateral side of the model with currency symbols found within the insoles to complete the theme.
