Nike and Ja Morant have formally unveiled the Grizzlies’ star’s next signature sneaker model. After the huge success of the Ja 3, the next installment, the Ja 4, lands on shelves later this year.
Ja Morant might have one of the best ongoing signature sneaker lines in the game. His first model arrived in February of 2023, and delivered a relatively tame, unassuming new silhouette for his footwear debut. Things got a little more interesting with the Ja 2’s launch the following year, and really took off with the debut of the Ja 3 in 2025. The third iteration was the most unique design yet, featuring an all-over textured upper with the pattern for the sole’s traction, jagged teeth-like elements, and a well-positioned Swoosh that spelled out JA. Today, Morant has unveiled the Ja 4 coming this Fall, adding another excellent model to his growing catalog. We can’t say much about the tech inside the new shoe, but the 4 appears to feature a molded outer shell for the upper a 3D diamond pattern across the entire shoe. The reverse Swoosh is back for this release, tucked behind an ‘A’ shaped stability panel that wraps from the sole upwards, towards the toe box.

Nike has not made an official announcement regarding the release date of the new Ja 4 signature shoe, though the model is planned to debut sometime in Fall 2026, likely around the start of the next NBA season. The shoe will likely have plenty of colors available in its initial rollout, available through both Nike and select retailers.
