Nike ISPA has been releasing its outside-the-box advanced concept silhouettes for almost two years now, and things get more and more interesting with every new release. This month, the secret division of the Swoosh unveiled a new creation, the OverReact Sandal.
The lineup of footwear from Nike’s secretive ISPA division has grown more and more complex with each new release, delivering some of the most advanced Swoosh sneakers ever directly to consumers. This week, ISPA unveiled a roundup of some upcoming releases, lifting the veil on some previously leaked silhouettes. Among these is the OverReact Sandal, a strappy leather version of the Flyknit-based OverReact we first saw last week. The Sandal retains much of the design language of the OverReact, despite the drastic change in materials. The inner workings of the shoe appear to be supported by a few pieces of thick mesh for structure, before the various leather strips criss-cross their way through the upper, blending with webbing loops for the lacing system and clear mesh panels for breathability. The OverReact Sandal will come in two colorways at launch, one brown and the other black leather.

Nike’s ISPA division has scheduled the launch of its OverReact Sandal silhouette for July 31st, 2020. The eccentric new leather iteration of the new ISPA model will be available from both Nike and select retailers, with a retail price tag of just $160.
