Nike GYAKUSOU is back with another new collection this month. Following up on their parent company Undercover’s Nike Daybreak, Gyakusou is set to go the distance with their new Nike Pegasus 36 Trail.

The partnership between Jun Takahashi’s Undercover and Nike has produced a lot of great work over the years, though some of it might be overlooked by sneakerheads unfamiliar with the Japanese label. While many herald the brand’s collaborative Element 87s or Daybreaks as some of their best work, many are forgetting GYAKUSOU. Born as somewhat of a subdivision of the Undercover x Nike partnership, GYAKUSOU was created so that its founder, Jun Takahashi, could fully express his love for running while keeping it entirely separate from the main Undercover line. Now, many collections later, Gyakusou is as popular as ever.

This week, Nike GYAKUSOU is getting ready to release their next running project with the Swoosh. Titled “GYAKUSOU Went the Distance”, the collaboration focuses on the immensely popular Pegasus 36 in its trail form for the project’s footwear. Dressed in matching yellow and red colorways, and constructed from luxurious materials, the shoes are decorated with rose detailings above the lateral Swooshes, alongside the “Went the Distance” moniker on each toe box.
