Nike’s Free family is expanding this season, with the addition of a new outdoor-ready adaptation of the popular running technology. Check out the new Free Run Trail 5.0 in “Dark Russet”, coming next year.

The Nike Free Run Trail surprised us with its debut earlier this year, reviving a dormant Nike midsole technology for a modern age. Though Free has been continually innovated upon by the Swoosh for the last 30 years, the ‘barefoot’ technology comes and goes in waves as Nike continues to change up the design and construction. This year’s release, however brings us some exciting colorways for the outdoor-ready version of the Free family, a continuing the franchise’s tradition of wild and out-there color schemes. The latest to surface online begins with a solid brown tone for the shoe’s suede upper, combined with a striking blue mesh collar and tongue, while ruby red accents complete the look.
