Nike’s Free Run family continues to expand as the brand evolves the barefoot technology they pioneered twenty years ago. However, this year they are celebrating a fan-favorite milestone with the Free Run 2, coming soon in Pure Platinum.

Nike’s Free Run technology has been continually changing over the last two decades, refining and reengineering the barefoot-sensation footwear every few years for a more accurate and durable ride. However, since its introduction in 2014, the Nike Free Run 2 has remained one of the most beloved entries in the years-long franchise, thanks to its incredible comfort and timeless style. Thankfully, Nike revived the Free Run 2 earlier this year, delivering the fan-favorite model in essential black and white colorways. Now, new colorways continue to arrive on shelves every few weeks, like the new “Pure Platinum” iteration we have an early look at today. Dressed almost entirely in solid grey, this pair adds a light mauve color to the Free Run 2’s taped overlays as well as the laces, while a suede outer cage holds it all in place.
