Nike and Fear of God are not done with their basketball project quite yet. With the re-release of the Air Fear of God 1 just around the corner, the partners are also ready to introduce the more minimal iteration- titled the Shoot Around.

Fear of God and Nike are going to be big. Just last month, the two finally released the debut iteration of their Fear of God x Nike Air FOG 1 High. The performance silhouette has been highly sought after by all kinds of sneakerheads since the first leaks earlier in the year, and the excitement finally came to a point with the release. Even in the weeks since consumers are still scrambling to find themselves a pair, and now appears that another chance is coming directly from Nike. Not only will the Swoosh be re-releasing the Air FOG 1, but finally dropping the Air FOG 1 SA. Identified by the “Shoot-Around” Moniker, this second iteration of the Air FOG 1 is built exactly what its name says it’s for: shootarounds. While the original Air FOG was built for on-court performance, the SA version is meant to provide the same traction, support, and comfort as the original, albeit not quite as court-ready. The Shoot Around removes the supportive cages from either side, replacing them with a velcro strap around the top of the boot. Additionally, the laces are then wrapped around the ankle and secured in front by a lace lock.
