Nike’s Flyknit Trainer was the shoe that introduced Flyknit to the world. After a brief hiatus from Nike’s release calendar, the sneaker returned in full force last year. Next up for 2018 is a brand-new white & gum colorway, coming soon.

The Nike Flyknit Trainer first appeared in 2012 on the feet of United States Olympic athletes during the London games. The response to the new silhouette was extraordinary, largely in part to Nike’s unique Flyknit technology. The advanced upper material had never been seen before and delighted both die-hard sneakerheads and casual enthusiasts alike. The Nike Flyknit Trainer then skyrocketed into sneaker history thanks to a famous co-sign from none other than Kanye West. Finally, after the shoes return to Nike’s arsenal, the Swoosh is releasing the fan-favorite in a simple white color with a gum outsole. This marks the first time that Nike will apply the triple-white color scheme to the Flyknit Trainer, and is likely to arrive in stores just in time for the warm Spring and Summer months. Though no release date has been announced, the Nike Flyknit Trainer in white & gum has already hit shelves at Atmos Tokyo.
