Last year, Nike brought back their famous Flyknit Trainer silhouette, pleasing many. Most recently, a new Toronto Raptors inspired colorway has been revealed.

The Nike Flyknit Trainer debuted around the world in 2012, becoming the first Nike shoe to feature a fully Flyknit upper. The shoes gained massive popularity surprisingly quickly and skyrocketed to new levels after a cosign from none other than Kanye West. Now, the Flyknit Trainer is back for 2018 and bringing along a whole slew of enticing colorways. Next up for release is currently referred to as the “Smooth Style” iteration by Nike. This colorway sees the trainer share a mix of deep purple, bright red, and black, a color combo reminiscent of the OG Toronto Raptors colors. The forefoot of the shoe takes on a deep violet hue that extends partially onto the EVA rubber sole, but is ceased from spreading further by a “Siren Red” layer running through the sole. Next, the heel of the shoe is dipped in black to provide a solid base color for the silhouette and is highlighted on the sides by a large bright red Swoosh. Additional details include the same red and purple tones covering the tongue’s Nike logos.
