The Nike Flyknit Trainer made a glorious return last year, re-releasing in several OG colorways as well as new iterations. The trend will continue into 2018, with most recently the “Cargo Khaki” colorway official images surfacing online.

The Nike Flyknit Trainer first released in 2012, debuting on the feet of Team U.S.A’s Olympians at the London Olympic Games. The model marked a turning point for the Swoosh, as it was the first time their new Flyknit technology was shown to the world. The Trainer quickly became an object of desire for many, as the lightweight upper boasted a comfort a flexibility unmatched by other brands. Once Kanye West wore a pair of the silhouette, the shoe was impossible to get. Pairs flew off of shelves just days after his first public appearance of them, and resale prices skyrocketed to over $1,000. Now, 6 years later, Nike is adding more colorways to the popular shoe’s list of accomplishments. The next version to release looks to be the Cargo Khaki, which paints the main structure of the upper in a neutral olive color. The tongue, laces, and ankle collar are dyed in a bright citron hue to pop from the earthy base. The two-tone midsole on this model layers olive on top of white for a sleek look and is finished off with a black outsole. The Nike Flyknit Trainer “Cargo Khaki” will come ready with two sets of laces, the citron color and a plain black set for a more minimal look.
