Nike’s Flyknit Trainer was the shoe that introduced Flyknit to the world. After a brief hiatus from Nike’s release calendar, the sneaker returned in full force last year. Next up for 2018 is a brand-new blacked out upper, coming soon.

The Nike Flyknit Trainer first released in 2012, debuting on the feet of Team U.S.A’s Olympians at the London Olympic Games. The model marked a turning point for the Swoosh, as it was the first time their new Flyknit technology was shown to the world. The Trainer quickly became an object of desire for many, as the lightweight upper boasted a comfort a flexibility unmatched by other brands. Now, after several years’ hiatus from the Nike release calendar, the Flyknit Trainer is back and dropping in one hot colorway after the next this year. The latest colorway of Nike’s famous Flyknit Trainer ready for release may be one of the simplest yet. The Flyknit upper comes entirely blacked out, one of the first time’s we’ve ever seen that color blocking on this model. The midsole contrasts the main body in white, though the forefoot section matches the upper in black, as usual.
